The question is if I did a bodybuilding show should I cut down or just go as is and try to have as much size as possible. Looks like a show is in 5 days but kind of would want to change formula and dry out a bit. Also don't I need a routine with mandatories or something?
I have to drive my girl to an eye doctor friday and its a 7 hour drive couldnt really get there in time to get ready for the show sent an emaikl asking of over 40 gets a sword I dont know I feel likek this would be a good show but my girl is getting lasix surgery friday and needs a driver

I don't know your current financial situation, but competing can be pricey.
NPC card = $135 some promoters will let you buy one at the show, but others require it in advance.
Contest entry fee = avg for state/local = $100 plus a late fee ( $50 + ?) if you enter a week or 2 before the show
posing trunks - 2 pairs , $50 or more
Pro tan bronzer - 2 bottles minimum , aprox $50-60
Plus, if the contest is more then a 2-3 hr drive, you'll need a hotel room for the weekend = minimum 2 x $50 = $100
Add to that any food, gas plus tickets for friends and family you may want to attend .
In basic ,round numbers, it will cost at least $500 to cover the basic costs to actually compete and do well.
You can double or triple that cost for competing in a national show you need to travel to.
Plus, you'll need to practice doing the mandatory poses and prepare a final routine and have an edited song recording ready to go.
A big part of the reason I stopped in competing, 25 years ago, was the $$ cost .
For the next 15 years I only judged instead and did my own thing in the gym.
