I have benched 315lbs for 6 reps on incline without a spot. Currently I am recovering from my 4th tear of my right pec so no I don’t bench low reps now. The strict curl is a popular powerlifting movement which is why they have competitions for it at big events like the Arnold Classic and the Olympia

He was clearly having problems gripping the bar with both hands especially his left hand (I believe).

It's quite something, 4 right pec tears, a bicep tear, dislocating shoulder more than once, buggered knees. The bicep tear wasn't long ago but now entering max curl competitions, something aint right.

Chest + Abs:
DB Inclines - 5 sets - 10 reps
DB Flyes - 5 sets 12-15 reps
Crunches - 3 sets - failure

I put some athletic tape on my injured elbow,then an elbow sleeve.....used moderate weight and rested about a minute between sets.

No problems.....of course the real test will come when I work Triceps....great pump !!
