Yeah I was I haven’t taken any steroids since 18 years ago. And I did this 2-3 years ago. Some people are just very strong. People that doubt are usually just upset with their own accomplishments. I’ve inclines benched 405 naturally as well for a few reps.

Form is decent.

If you want to see someone that makes you think they will tear their body to pieces then look at Branch's shitty form in his videos.

I’m not seeing an issue. No, not strict, but those are controlled pump-reps with a measured amount of body English.

He’s a strong fuck. But doing this will most likely end his career cause you know 250s are on the horizon.

When Matt Jansen of all people is telling you to step off the gas and let your body clean out and you don’t heed his advice, you know that you’re staring down the barrel of a .45

My nikka

I just don’t lie about lifts juiced or natty. It ruins everything with one lie. Today just did chest at 215 and did incline db press for my third movement and got 100s for 5. My biggest strength is at 250 and drops drastically on pressing when I go below.

Was talking about Branch in the video presented on this thread page. Walker’s presses were very smooth and super controlled, albeit “short” in range.

i just dont care for the bouncing up/down on his seat, then not locking controlled
no doubt much stronger than me, but all of his training in ballistic
to each his own i suppose
i just thought he looked hysterical bouncing up/down in his seat
but hes always trained that way and was very successful in BB

It’s a cliché to say, but he’s very young and doesn’t grasp the meaning of health and its general fragility. As well, and worse, he is on an andro rush. He feels invincible, driven and on a mission.

No sweat. Just saying there are many approaches in resistance training. Each has its place and can be employed to varying degrees of effectiveness, considering individual differences and tolerances.

In 37 years at it, I’ve experimented with and utilized a majority of what’s possible in our world of iron.

Well said, as always, mate.

I wish someone close to the lad is routinely reminding him that one's tolerance for all of these drugs isn't readily apparent until it's too fucking LATE.  By the time someone knows he can't make it to the top or fails to do so, he's a goner.

The real trouble with some of these poor blokes is when they DO get within spitting distance of the big titles and keep pushing even after they are already sick (Flex), losing their edge (Nasser), etc.  They can't accept that irreparable damage was done until they are dead or crippled.

Walker has enough muscle and he always competes in a very lean, dry condition.  However, his body is ugly.  He has a very long torso, wide waist, short wingspan, his legs are bowed and short, and his pecs are weak.  Piling lots of extra size atop that stinkbug-looking structure will probably keep him relegated to top three status at best.

If I'm wrong, and he wins an Olympia -- more power to him.  Just the same, if that happens, I hope he'll follow the examples set by prior champs who knew when to said "fuck off" to waddling about as a giant.

What Branch Warren is doing I'd call incline presses.

The old gyms had standing incline benches.

100%.  McCarver had the same thing going.  They feel invisible on a boat load of drugs and cant take their foot off the gas.  It's unfortunate.

He has the strength of seven men and is a mass of ungodly muscle. His confidence and aggression is at max volume.

But it’s all masking a very scary truth: Inside his body, extraordinarily negative and permanent things are happening, too.

There’s nothing even approaching moderate in Walker’s usage.

Nothing I say is in a spirit of meanness. In bodybuilding terms, dude is a freakshow beast. However, there is a price to be paid. As another says, beyond the overwhelming size, it’s doubtful he’ll take the top crown, ever. He’d be wise to, if he’s dead set on it, compete perhaps a couple more times, and then quit … and scale it WAY BACK.

Wasn’t a Walker fan initially but he’s ok. 405 for 8 on smith BB presses is impressive.

I was thinking the same thing....those were not what I would call seated bb presses.

Strong dude.

But when you can't pop the weights back and press them on your own, it's time to back down a bit.

All grass-fed beef (rinsed of course) and wala wala onions.

Has nothing to do with that. Just strong at certain body weights. I don’t understand so much wiseassness on this forum. Being behind a keyboard and being a wiseass make people feel tough?
