Here are some pictures how I built the wooden support base.
This base is needed so I can start installing the reinforcement for the suspended slab. You can also see the temporary props underneath, which will hold the weight of the concrete mass once it’s poured.
The slab will include openings for ventilation and for the toilet. The walls are monolithically cast with a toothed edge at the top — 30 cm thick concrete walls with a 12.5 cm raised section, creating a pocket for the suspended slab to sit in.
A central load‑bearing wall runs through the middle, dividing the monolithic toilet box into two sections. Overall external dimensions of the toilet box: 3.1 × 2.1 m. The height is about 1.6 m from the bottom base to the top slab.
