SOON. I just don’t have an idea for the next video yet. I’ll keep it under 2 minutes though, considering the patience of the general audience.

That seems odd. The first video was planned out?

Obviously you spent time putting the words on paper and then trying move them in a scrolling motion but that seemed to be the only concept that was put together.

The plan was to make it feel like a short film, but it ended up running too long. I’ll keep the next ones shorter. I still want to add an intro as a separate piece — showing a robot‑like identity awakening in the garage and heading to the toilet. Then there will be a closing clip that picks up where the main video left off, continuing the story as I encounter an apocalyptic identity, trying to jam with it, detecting its DNA etc, and eventually heading back to the garage.

Unless you have a good niche, a good message, decent to good editing and consistency, it’s a tough gig. I still make content but because of the content channels like mine are shadow banned. I’m sure if I would have stuck with the fitness and strength and conditioning content on my other channel would have been successful

My niche is basically Just Overkill and my motto is Keep it simple. I know it’s not easy to break through on YouTube, but at least I’m giving it a try. As you can see from photos, I use it in my DIY projects — applying common sense and always sprinkling a little extra on top. I also will make construction videos, exercise content, garage jammin and similar stuff. I don’t want to get stuck in just one topic, but rather explore different themes — all through the Overkill lens.

Do I have potential as a YouTuber?

Maybe ask some youtubers as opposed to a forum of degenerates that are banned from all corners of the internet

Just keep at it. Seek out social media accounts and channels that are successful and follow their leads. Channels like Mr. Beast actually gives great advice on how to be successful a content creation. My biggest problem besides YouTube shadow banning my content, is consistently coming with ideas for content. Keep it short. Unless you're a podcast, you need to get your audiences attention within the first 10-20secs which is why you see a lot of channels use clickbait headlines to draw their audience in.

I’m heading out to watch SISU at the cinema – pure Finnish rage and survival vibes. After that I’ll be back to answer your deep philosophical questions about my YouTube potential.

Great movie

I didn’t catch all the words, but the high‑pitched voice made it… memorable. I’m not a native English speaker and would love to have subtitles to fully catch all your commentary.

Many thanks! What country are you from Vidoc?

Here are some pictures how I built the wooden support base.

This base is needed so I can start installing the reinforcement for the suspended slab. You can also see the temporary props underneath, which will hold the weight of the concrete mass once it’s poured.

The slab will include openings for ventilation and for the toilet. The walls are monolithically cast with a toothed edge at the top — 30 cm thick concrete walls with a 12.5 cm raised section, creating a pocket for the suspended slab to sit in.

A central load‑bearing wall runs through the middle, dividing the monolithic toilet box into two sections. Overall external dimensions of the toilet box: 3.1 × 2.1 m. The height is about 1.6 m from the bottom base to the top slab.

For an unemployed man you seem to have  bit of money to invest in your dream toilet.

I was employed back then when I built it. In my country the average salary was about €1,407 in 2019 and €1,448 in 2020, but I earned less than that — around €1,000 per month.

Why didn't you build a gym or a maple syrup sugar shack instead?

This is one of them weird dutch/euro poo shelf toilets. You shit on the porcelain part and it sits there so you can inspect it for any irregularities before flushing it away  :-X

I remember in the 90's, I read about a German toilet that was built with a grinding attachment, much like a garbage disposal. If you ran into problems, you pressed the grinding button, and those turds never stood a chance. You should look into something like that.

Definitely an unprofessional move, which if it was done quickly, wouldn’t be a big deal.

At the end of the day, there isn’t any interest in this topic.

It would take a ridiculously good video to make a poor topic work.

If someone wants a successful YT channel it means they are becoming marketers.

Making videos about random shit is not marketing.
