I did not see these kids do anything but Olympic lifting during the days they weere training. They did not mix it up. But I can't see why you couldn't mix in workout between your Olympic training. ah sounds good, well i'll start off with light weight and switch it back and forth. Like try it with other bodyparts or do it by itself but you're right though its mostly about "technique and speed"

Hmm but i feel like that many sets has really helped me to strengthen up my legs a lot?

Nav, if you are used to doing many sets then adding some on odd days may or may not make a difference and I mean that in recovery time and joint problems. jwb is rightwith Olympics training. Eevn though I haveneverdone it I have watched it being taught by the best. And no way could I go through it the way it looked to me. Very exhausting. Jsut rep after rep after rep. Speed speed speed. SO much legwork no way could I have done it.

Yea Champions definitely would have been one of the biggest and best gyms in the world. The Gym was an awesome place to train. I love Country is still awesome to. I would probably remember you if I saw you. Great with faces horrible with names.

Richard Chan theowner of I Love Country is a very good friend of mine. I call him dad and he calls me son. He in fact catered both my shows for the bodybuilders backstage. I never heard of a promoter who caters top quality food for the BB's right in the pump up room. We have a lot of varity of food cooked at the restuarant. It was awesome. They are a great restaurant and he is a great guy. I am living on the Big Island now though so I am going to Big Island Grill for my grinds. Jerry did you work at the Ala Moana Hotel

I used to go there when they had bikini contest, mini comic book conventions, etc. You do look very familiar. I left Hawaii in 1997. Maybe I may have passd you a few times. One thing about Hawaii is you see almost the same people everywhere you go.

Remember when POGS were huge? Ala Moana hotel used to host a lot of conventions for POGS...(they were the most stupidest, waste of money I ever spent on worthless milkcaps....)

I used to like eating at "I Love Country Cafe". Its like the Hawaiian version of the Firehouse. Now that I have a little more money than I had when I left Hawaii , Id like to go back and visit Hawaii and go back to the Cafe....

Yea I am pretty sure we saw each other at some time. And yes POGS. AT the time I owned Purely Hawaiian. We got into POGS heavy. My uncle who ran my company got into them really heavy. Started the International POG Association. In fact sued Haleakala Dairies for the right to the name. He actually won the lawsuit out of court for tons of money. I know a few people who became millionaires in literally 3 months. Man, Hawaii is wierd.
