Abbie Burrows came into town as the favorite, and left TJ with a decisive win going into the 2011 Olympia, and some great momentum too. Newcomer Christiana Mendivil, and I mean brand new (receiving her IFBB Pro card the night before in the amatuer Tijuana championships), took second and earned a trip to the Olympia. Wow – what an incredible weekend for her. Kelly Gonzales, who was off at the Phoenix Pro a few weeks ago, proacticed her posing and looked great on stage, qualifying her for her first Olympia. Nicole Wilkins came into Culver City to hone her incredible physique and make sure she is spot on for the Figure Olympia a week from today. And she looked great. Quiet and determined backstage, she is the one to beat at the Olympia, with Erin Stern just as determined. It is going to be interesting in Vegas. Second was Teresa Anderson, and third, Krissy Chin. One big surprise was Michele Mayberry, coming to the Tournament of Champions in the best shape in her contest history, and earning a trip to the Olympia (since top three were already qualified, the 4th place finisher gets the nod).
