Time is awesome. Last year I chainsawed down a bunch of trees to open up the view from my house. Bucked & stacked, its cured nicely and we've got enough firewood for two winters, which it is here in the other hemisphere.
I layered potassium nitrate on the stumps to stop regrowth and after a year they're ready for burning. Got about 20 smoldering. Doing more today. Gather up some dry small growth and twigs to get a boy scout blaze going on top of each, add a few mid sized logs. Once it burns down to ground level do a kegdrainer and put a good sized rock on top in case it rains. It also insulates and helps the burn.
Makes it way easier to get your backhoe across it. We can't all be Irongrip with his 50 ton excavators.
Sounds to me like you need to sell whatever bullshit urban shoebox you're in and go buy some land.
One day I'll build a trebuchet and calculate firing solutions for any spot for boulders of sufficient mass to crush a vehicle. You never know when you'll need to flatten someone's car with a boulder.
