Gossip & Opinions / Re: Western decline before our eyes
« Last post by obsidian on Today at 07:23:48 PM »
I am starting to read about Westerners who want to move to Russia. This will gain more traction as the West declines further. Europe has a lot of issues facing it in the not-too-distant future. Civil Wars will likely be a reality unless the native population are cowards and go gentle into that good night.

Haven't done single leg presses in so many years I forgot about them but I've never experienced issues with the ribs. Interestingly enough, a quick search shows a several people had ribs pop during leg press. Did you go too low or too fast or at a weird angle?

The 30 rep seated calf raises are a bitch, as are all high rep sets for calves.
It happened to me about two or three months ago I can do them again I’ve been going heavy again, but I couldn’t do them for almost 2 months. I had five plates on each side and I thought a rack to weight and I did it took my feet off and then it crashed down on my ribs, but I caught it with my feet like last minute, but I was pinned my knees or into my chest or my knees were behind my rib I think thank God two guys that I know one guy train with pulled it off, but I was sore for weeks

Anyone know how to get photos from a phone that your iCloud has been hacked? They’ve locked me out of all trusted devices, changed the phone number associated with the account so I can’t get back into it. My real issue is since my cloud is gone all of my photos are too.  They’re on my phone and I can see them in the album but when I go to click on them I can’t because of the cloud issue. Any of y’all know about that?
Sorry to hear, that sucks. This is a little late for advice, but do not save your photos on the cloud - ever! I have never done that. I get annoyed whenever a device offers me this option. I copy all my photographs to my hard drives.

Ponder what the powers that be want and that’s the answer.

That’s why I gave my nightmare scenario.

Wall St now control the largest inflows/outflows. The US is the largest player in mining and shortly will control the network. It’s end game now for the leaders who want to use blockchain to remove freedom and privacy.

Think of those evil movies where the innocent must go willingly to the devil. CBDC are coming and the innocent must willingly give up their privacy……. This is the game being played at the moment.

EDIT I forgot to add, the largest energy event in our lifetime will occur inside of 6yrs (likely inside the next 2-3 which will dwarf the Global Lockdown impact at a sustained level. Saylor and maxis are betting against this, personally I’m betting on the Overlords to win, not the maxis.
Well, that sure makes me want BTC more... NOT! The US National debt will soon reach $35 trillion. Total US debt already passed $100 trillion. These morons will fuckup Bitcoin just like they fucked everything else.

Opinions vary, facts don't

The folks on Getbig attempting to instigate a debate have no concept of the structure of debates. It is obvious they never actively or passively participated in a debate.

Many folks on Getbig express their opinions. Opinions are all but worthless in a debate. An opinion is not necessarily based upon what is true, accurate or informed. Opinions are the opposite of arguments. Arguments are coherent and contain logical reasons backing up and supporting the assessments.

The subject of fake electors must be like sunlight on vampires to the Trumpturds.  No one wants to talk about REAL election fraud.   :-*

Rudy sure is scared of proving his "innocence" with that "evidence" he claims he has isn't he?  Why, it's almost like it doesn't even exist.    :D

Arizona fake electors: Rudy Giuliani taunts prosecutors, Boris Epshteyn asks for delay
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=Arizona+fake+electors%3A+Rudy+Giuliani+taunts+prosecutors%2C+Boris+Epshteyn+asks+for+delay

The earliest court hearings in Attorney General Kris Mayes' criminal case alleging a plot to subvert the result of the 2020 presidential election may be missing two high-profile allies of former President Donald Trump.

Three weeks after the indictment was issued by a grand jury, the Arizona Attorney General's Office has been unable to serve former Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani notice that he must appear in court May 21.

The former mayor of New York City is one of 18 people charged with nine felony counts in Arizona, and to date, his name has not been formally released by prosecutors.

Meanwhile, Trump adviser Boris Epshteyn's lawyer asked to delay his client's first court appearance until June, because Epshteyn is "advising in a court proceeding ongoing in another state" through May, court documents say.

Epshteyn has been repeatedly spotted in the New York City courtroom where Trump is on trial over charges he falsified business records. The first criminal trial of a former president alleges Trump sought to hide payments and other efforts to prevent stories of sexual encounters with women from becoming public during his 2016 campaign.

Epshteyn's lawyer did not respond to a call or email seeking comment Tuesday.

Agents from Mayes' office spent two days in New York City trying to serve Giuliani notice of the charges against him, according to Mayes spokesperson Richie Taylor. The doorman at the building confirmed he lived there, but would not contact him on the agents' behalf, Taylor said. The office called multiple phone numbers for Giuliani, and sent the summons via certified mail, with no luck.

Taylor said what comes next is to be determined.

"It will be up to the court to decide whether this merits a continuation for the defendant or if other methods need to be taken," Taylor said.

Typically defendants in white-collar cases are cooperative and accept the summons, said Mark Kokanovich, a former federal prosecutor who now practices law at the firm Ballard Spahr. The alternatives are a public notification, or potentially, an arrest warrant, he said.

Yeesh sorry that happened to you. Anyways you’re not going to get anything informative here.  I don’t care for the site in general but Reddit is a good source for information like this.

Best of luck

Pointed these things out on here a long time ago.

Doesn't matter any more. Blackrock and tradfi will strong arm an unpopular solution through to handle the issue. By then Maxis will either be too wealthy to care or a small minority that no ones pays any attention too.

An example of a solution might be to fork bitcoin, make all undeclared and non KYC bitcoin illegal/worth $0 and then if needed eventually double the supply.

Study the gold reserve act 1934
You're assuming the USA will still be the bully able to push the agenda everywhere. I see the US as an entity that will collapse. You can see it crumbling from the inside out.

Doing the forking / supply increase as you suggested would destroy the Bitcoin narrative. What does it offer besides being the first mover, the catchy name, and 21 million cap? That's the selling point.

I bought something down 99%. I'm a legit whale and advisor to the project now  :D

You need to think of ETH as something that did a stock split because that's basically been the effect of L2s

ETH maxis putting their hopes into the ETF will be left scratching their heads if/when it gets approved (but without staking rewards) and does almost nothing for the price.
L2s is Ethereum's solution for scaling. Solana chose to do all the transactions on L1. How's that working out recently?

Bitcoin will also need L2s to be able to scale. And it has the mining / halving question.

Nothing is perfect. It is a tricky problem to solve: Maintain Decentralization & Scale.

Religious Debates & Threads / Re: Prayer and Religion in Public Life
« Last post by Dos Equis on Today at 06:42:43 PM »
We both know you automatically take offense to anything I post. Having said that, no, I spend no time converting people to my non belief. I am concerned with remaining silent which allows the far right to push their religious agenda in courts which affects me. I will speak up on those occasions. I believe everyone has the right to believe what they want religion wise, as long as it doesn't impact me. That hasn't been the case so remaining silent is misinterpreted by the religious as we agree... we don't

on a personal note. I would not actively try and talk someone out of their belief in a god or gods. I was there. I understand it. But if faced with the argument, or subject matter, I won't remain silent.

Its actually not weird... there is a popular bumper sticker out there that says "Atheist-Someone who has actually read the bible"... it's popular for a reason.

You have never said anything that offended me, so stop being dishonest.  Again.

Saying you speak up about religion when “the far right” pushes their religious views in courts that affect you, completely contradicts the fact you are active on a public religious message board that has zero to do with the courts, government regulation, etc.  You’re here because for some strange reason you like to talk about things you don’t believe in.

And you’re not facing any kind of court or government-imposed oppression for being an atheist.  Nobody cares that you don’t believe in God or the Bible.

The bumper sticker is so popular I’ve never heard of or seen it.  Lol  Regardless, it should say:  “Atheist:  Someone who has actually read and does not understand the Bible.”
