For me, a double or triple depending on how I feel. How can I improve on that? ??? Discuss.

on deadlifts, i never go over 5 reps, even if it is 135. with 405 i do 5 sets for 4 reps each, about 60 second breaks between the sets.

first of all doing anything with 405 is pretty damn good i think. but i think doing other heavy back and shoulder exercises along with squats of course to strengthen the hips would help out...weighted pull ups, dumb bell and t bar rows, shoulder presses, dips, shrugs...things like that would help

I definitly think your overtraining, right now I hit chest 2 times a week...before this semester of school started up I only hit it once a week, but hit it really hard. I assume your asking about maxing out on the 315, Im not sure of what my max is now as I havent maxed out in over a year but its probably around 375 and maybe a little little extra. I've been natural my entire life and right now cant see why I'd change "

hahaha that's him hey? I'd guess anywhere between 205 and 245 for 6 reps on the bench, not 315! I actually did believe that his wife was probably hot even though he didnt post a pic, but after seeing this exaggerated claim I've lost faith in that!

I did this for kicks on my ME lowerbody day to see how id' far in an upcomng strongman show I signed up for in february. They're pulling by wessel's rules so here's how the workout went.

I would consider this max effort
deadlifts with wessel's rules (1 min time limit)
500x10x1 in a minute...could've gotten 12 or better if i kept going. I wanted to hit my goal of 500 for 10 and smoked it!!
405x14x1 in a minute..kept rep'n to 20
315x19x1 in a minute..kept rep'n to 30
had to walk around for about 5 minutes because my ass would cramp when i would sit. I'm surprised i didn't puke..because i was damn close.
some ham shit until i started crampin...
seated dumbbell hammers

No clue on 405. I used it for my last set of stiff leg DL with a belt and straps for 10 reps last Friday.
It's a good thing I can deadlift, I suck at squatting and benching!

I'm giving my girl her camera for christmas early so she can not only use it..but hopefully take some clips of me down at metroflex! See if loading a 300lb stone is much harder than pulling a 300lb dead off a box!

then stop bouncing it on the floor between reps. any time someone can get a lot of reps with a weight but can barely go above, it means they're bouncing the weight and have no strength for that first inch.

If the bottom of the ROM is the issue, train with 35 lb plates instead of 45's. HUGE difference nd yur explosive power from the bottom will definitely go up.

I can see that being a valid point if you're doing deadlifts on a rubber mat or a bouncy floor, but my gym has a thin layer of carpet over a hard floor so you can't really bounce it...the only thing you can do to make it a bit easier is not rest the weight fully on the floor before the next rep and instead just "touch" the weight on the floor at the bottom, which I think everyone does anyway. I think the reason I can't go much higher is because I've rarely tried more than 405, but I'm going to stick to 425 from now on, then 455, etc.

I haven't tried. I do 160 kilos 8 reps. I have about 10 months since i started deadlifting and i always get mad when i think that i haven't started them earlier. :-\ Great exercise.

Sorry to disappoint but it is not bullshit. If you notice my one reps max is not even over 700. If I was trying to bullshit you guysm why would I not make that higher?

Oh and BTW, when I did this I was 240 at 7% and I am 5"10, not huge but, not little either.
