I think we all expected this from the beginning..Kev failed miserably as an actor...someone offered him $200,000 to get back into competition shape to hype their new supplement...BOOM, bills gotta get paid.

I called this from the start, I cant believe people couldnt see through it, looks like I even called it down to the day when he'd start pimping the supp too ::)

Lol, you cant be that naive, this whole thing is about making money, no doubt in a week he'll bust out some companys supplement or his own and claim to start taking it the same time he doubles his drugs dosage. He's already mentioned he may add a supplement, and said with a wry smile.Who is gonna be impressed when natural Levrone gains 6 pounds of muscle in 8 weeks?

It's obviously rehearsed.

It's just a "clever" commercial. Look for him to pimp it soon, and probably get a cut of the profit.

Well mine was specific and down to the date, beat that  ;D
Mars thought it was a "personal challenge" ;D

whats the point if he takes juice again? i mean those days are behind him, i dont see why it could be a challenge for him for not doing it natural. at the end there will be a point where he has to say goodbye to the juiced muscle again.

someone a while back mentioned that this whole transformation was a scheme to "promote" a product.  it's definitely starting to look that way...sadly.  It's very pathetic that the top level people in any field would use their success to take advantage of the unknowning public.

hopefully levrone has some more class than this and will continue his journey without trying to promote garbage.

This could be the dumbest post in history  ::)  Is Levrone holding a gun to your head forcing you to watch his videos and buy products he used?

Levrone is funny lol!

Of course he's going to use this transformation to help push the products he's associated with!  He'd be stupid not to! That's what this industry is all about!  And who says the product in question is necessarily crap?  It might be a good quality or unique supplement.

Dear Kevin,

I train hard, eat right, and stay focused on my workout. But I have never been able to obtain that lean, cut look that you have now. In fact, the results come pretty slowly sometimes, and it can be tough to keep training when you feel like you aren't getting anywhere. You have a reputation for being able to turn up the intensity whenever you want. How do you stay so focused?

Sincerely,

Mike C.

Dear Mike,

Maintaining intensity is the key to reaching your fitness goals and achieving what I call HARD FITNESS RESULTS. It can be a real drain on your morale when you don't see and feel the results of your hard work. Sometimes it's a matter of changing your diet, or adding some new twists to your routines, but most often it's really about finding new ways to work harder. I know that it can be a constant struggle to find new ways to release that warrior you have inside!

Recently, I've been working hard to change my physique from what I needed as a bodybuilder, to meet the demands of my fitness and acting career. This requires me to appear more lean, athletic and cut than ever. I needed to really bring out HARD FITNESS RESULTS that look great on the big screen. That's when a friend told me about HFR TRAINING GEL[TM].

I tried it, and now I won't work out without it. From the moment you put it on, you can feel it working! It warms you up fast, gets the blood flowing to the muscle groups you are working on, and really gives you that blown out, hard pumped, ripped look after every, workout!

And, HFR TRAINING GEL has a patent pending Nitric Oxide delivery system that supports maximum VASODILATION to the targeted muscle groups. HFR also helps me recover faster, guaranteeing that I am ready for my next training session, sooner than ever before. When I feel that focused I really train like an animal!

Basically, HFR TRAINING GEL helps motivate me to work out harder and more often. I see changes faster, and that keeps me intensely focused and ready to put in the effort I need to achieve the HARD FITNESS RESULTS I want.

I do caution you, though. It is intense, and you better be ready to train. Also, I'm pretty sure you can get a FREE MONTH SUPPLY with your ORDER TODAY by calling 1.866.469.6688 or by visiting www.GETHFR.COM.

This stuff came out years ago. I remember pocketing some off of the free samples table when I worked at the Vitamin Shoppe. It smells like peppermint and when applied to whatever body part, it felt like a controlled sunburn. I cant find the commercial with Levrone in it on youtube, but it always came on ESPN between 11:30pm and 2am in between the  summer '05-'06.

VanBilderass, what do you think about this HFR training gel? Whats your honest opinion?
My opinion is this.Kevin Levrone has been pushing and has been endorsed by this HFR company, for atleast 3-4 years.
I think it wasnt doing well on the market, because nonse of the stores I supplly sell it.
So what they are doing now is copying EFX, who sponsors Flex Wheeler, and saying Kevin is natural now like Flex Wheeler.
I personally think the HFR training gel is a corny idea, and I think the product is probably junk.
There is no way they could make something people rub on there skin strong.Because a lot of people have allergic reactions, plus, I know this from blending. If you get some of these raw materials on your skin they will cause a rash.
Put some caffiene ,or Alpha Lapoic Acid on your skin, and see if you dont get a rash, you will.lol.
The bottom line is this Kevin Leverone transformation is all a marketing scam.

maybe croach is right about how these guys dont know how to train without drugs.
Levrone has great genetics, better genetic response to drugs...or insane response.
Off drugs, who know's how much he can gain.  He/we'll never know.  The chances he's training natural at 40, making very rapid gains in a month...doubtful, even with muscle memory there.
Any pro bb fucks up their natural test production so much, I'd doubt they can be normal without consistent shots.
You can't put any weight in any product a heavy juicer tries to endorse, plain and simple.  If you do, you're either in high school or just naive.
Whey, glutamine, krealkalyn.  And even these make up at most 3% of your gains.  Everyone wants a "magic pill", because they're too lazy to suck it up and hammer down quality calories for big changes.
"The ingredient"...hahah, classic.

In this last video The guy on the phone, sounded like a 50 year old country boy,he didnt sound like a chemist or a young guy who worked out.It sounds like that country boy he was talking to was sellin snake oil, lol .

I think it's a total scam. Just menthol and niacin warming the skin. I just remembered this from years ago... is this new "ingredient" also a coming HFR product?

As you know Vanbilderass, and I always don't see eye to eye always. But I do respect him not backing down and his knowledge. He isn't a chemist but he can hold his own.
Van you are absolutely correct. This product Keven Leverone is pushing is nothing more then a $3 bottle of cream they makes your skin warm.He claims it made him go from 206lbs to 223lbs.I find this hard to believe because the last time I saw Kevin Leverone was the the Mr Olympia, and he was lucky if he was 185lbs.How did he go from 185lbs, to 206 lbs then from 206lbs to 223lbs.What I'm thinking is, he had some blood work done, found out his test levels were low.The doctor gave him some HCG, or some low dosages of test, so his body balanced back out. That how he went from 185lbs to 206.I know Kevin Levrone is a freak beyond freaks .But there is no topical cream in the world except testosterone gel, that will make you go from 185lbs to 223lbs.
I design, research and developer some very very strong pro hormones, and not one of them will give you the results he has gotten off of this so callled cream.
What Kevin going to do now, put on a hat, and become Panama Jack the lotion freak ,lol

I didn't "have" to say anything.  If you must know, the story behind the ad that I did for them is as genuine as it gets.  During that time, I would take pics every month to monitor my progress.  When I incorporated MET-Rx into my nutritional program, I saw huge improvements and I showed them to Scott.  He was blown away and asked if he could use them in an ad.  The rest is history.

I know for a fact that adding 6-8 packets of MET-Rx/day over those months had an impact in my overall body composition.  And, I was genuinely surprised by the results.

Leverone is starting this whole video series as a scam from the get-go.  The whole think has been scripted out and the results being reported are outlandish.  It's an intentional scam and he should be ashamed of himself.

As I mentioned before, MET-Rx is one of the few products ever introduced that had supporting data.  But, that aside, before I was using MET-Rx, I was on gear, eating clean and training hard.  After I added MET-Rx, and changed nothing else, I got leaner, stronger and bigger.  That's all the proof I need.  By the way, unfortunately the MET-Rx that's available today, is not at all the same formula that was available when I was using it.

How do I know the supplement Leverone is hocking doesn't work?  Come on Earl.  Are you really falling for the horrible acting job and scripted video clips?  Seriously...

So you had NO contact whatsoever with Scott until after you had taken the photo series?

The pics did look like you intentionally dieted down. I don't buy the "changed nothing else" comment. Plus IIRC you tanned and oiled up too for the last pics.

Met-Rx may have been a good protein but there was a lot of intentional lying going on in the advertorials Bill Phillips did in Muscle Media. For example the classic "limited availability" thing.

"supporting data" or not i don't see how it is ok for you to take money and claim that metrx helped your transformation, but it isn't ok for him to say another product helped his transformation

i never heard anybody else claim that metrx worked better than any other MRP or even the typical chicken breast/brown rice meal, was their drugs in it when you took it?

Let's get a few facts straight boys:

1) I got paid $0.00 for that ad.  Not one penny.
2) At the time of that ad, I did not work for MET-Rx.  I worked out at the Costa Mesa Club MET-Rx gym.  It was there that I showed Scott the pics.  We didn't really know each other at the time other than being gym acquaintances.
3) Those pics where taken over the course of 12 months.  Look at the difference between 1 & 2.  Aside from MET-Rx, nothing changed.  In the later pics, I did incorporate cardio, lowered my carbs and eventually tanning/color.  I ended coming into my contest a full 15lbs heavier than the prior contest 18 months earlier.

Those are the facts.

Now, what would I have to possibly gain from supporting a product that I have nothing to do with today ???  Believe what you will, but the old MET-Rx formula worked and I gladly endorsed it.

Leverone, is trying to use a scripted BS video story to part gullible kids from what few bucks they might have.  I suppose it's no different than 99% of the supplement companies out there, so we shouldn't be surprised.  It's still shameful.

I'll tell you what. If they end up producing any credible data that supports the outlandish claims they are making, or if this miraculous "ingredient" works so well that it becomes the next creatine, I will personally donate $5,000 to whatever worthy cause Leverone choses.

At least you're being honest about being willing to lie to make a few bucks ::)  I would NEVER do that and I've had plenty of opportunities.  My company is a sales & marketing firm.  Rule #1 is I personally have to love, use and believe in the product.  If not, we don't represent it.  I've turned down plenty of opportunities to make lots of money with bunk products and/or companies with dubious ethics.  Those are all short lived anyway.  People might get fooled into trying it once.  If it doesn't work, they won't buy it again.

The original Met-Rx was one of the best protein powders ever made. The reason for this is the main ingredient was Milk Isolate with Milk Caseinate .If you know anything about protein powder, you will know that Milk Protein Isolate is the closest thing to mothers Milk.It has a slower release then whey,so the body abosorbs more of the protien.Plus Milk Isolate has more naturally occuring L-Glutamine then Whey Protein. In my opinion if I had to chose the best single source of protein it would be Milk Isolate.
Milk Isolate is even more effectivve when used with Whey Isolate, Egg Albumen, When Concentrate 80% ,Beta Caseinate, and Milk Protein Concentrate.
Dr Scoot Connelly, is a very smart man, and at one time I beleive 80% of all pro bodybuilders actualy did drink Met-RX.
I have personally seen many pro bodybuilder  drink it.
Its a shame the Original Met Rx isnt around. The new formula is okay, but the old formula, stood alone , it was beyond good. The problem is the Milk Isolate is very expensive, and Met -RX , is now a very large corporation. The only thing that matters to then is profit and loss.Dr Scott Connely did want to make money, like us all, but first and foremost he made a product that really worked.
