I have a girlfriend she doesnt and has never lived with me. So no I am not single I am in a relationship. I meant I live alone and its my fridge with just my food not a family fridge. I mean I have a toddler I will feed when he is here this weekend the little drinkable yogurts on the top shelf are his but the rest is all my food.

All I know is you posted a photo of your refrigerator's contents and aside from a couple gallons of aged milk it is all processed crap. And it explains why you look so unhealthy. If you're angry about this observation then talk to the mirror.

That's funny timing, because I was just in a video call with a mutual friend of Getbigger From the Past, Bast, and showed him the contents of my fridge and freezer.

I only eat roughly 13 whole foods, and I only replenish food about once a month [maybe less]. This way, it's impossible to cheat on my diet while at home, because no cheat foods are here.

I'm very low on most things now. Down to only a few chicken breasts, and maybe two scoops of protein, and straight out of 2% milk, whole eggs, bananas, and most other things that I eat:

I eat avocados, fish oi (capsules and from salmon with skin i cook), olive oil, and natural peanut butter (only peanuts and salt as ingredients) for good fats.    What are you eating for good fat?     Many of these processed foods such as the pizza in your fridge have refined oil which is unhealthy fat. 

Some processed food like frozen pizza makes my stomach upset.  I'm also lactose intolerant so I use milk with lactase (fairlife).    Many processed foods contain MSG and a lot of companies use other names for MSG so it's hidden in the ingredients list.   MSG increases appetite.   For a natural guy it's hard to be ripped eating processed foods like pizza and pre-made pasta salads with refined oils.   PEDs increase metabolism and improve digestion so it's easier of course.    A natural guy can also be ripped eating junk like this but most will have to calorie count and be careful with portions. 

Also I don't see any vegetable in your fridge. I have broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower often especially when i'm looking to get leaner.    They aren't necessary but they do help fill up the stomach to avoid overeating calories and they do add some good nutrients.     If I had to eat just 5 foods they would be:   Steak, Salmon, oatmeal, fruit, avocados - I  digest these foods the best, they have all the nutrients required, they make me feel the best relative to other foods, and I enjoy eating them.

I am practicing my posing and checking my progress. When reviewing old pics vs current the problem is it is always a different distance from camera, different lighting, different pose, different background. I am practicing my posing and checking my progress. When reviewing old pics vs current the problem is it is always a different distance from camera, different lighting, different pose, different background. If you really want to subjectively assess your progress you need consistent lighting and perspective.

i use a meal prep company.

Mega Fit meals, i  was using trifecta but had some internal issues with them so dropped them. We went from a pic of your fridge to a picture of you posing.

Because I show a pic of my fridge and everyone says you must be a fat fuck eating all that. Then when I show a pic of my abs everyone says you must be starving yourself. I am trying to teach and show people you can have abs and eat lots of regular food if you train. Instead of all these lying sacks of shit that says they just eat broccoli and chicken breast yet are somehow 20lbs overweight photoshopping their pics telling people to count their calories and take 100mg a week of Test. These lying sacks of shit are what give people eating disorders and body dysmorphia issues. I don't use any supplement powders or pills. I don't pay any coaches or have anyone else buy or prep my food. I eat a lot and train hard.

Also notice what is not in my fridge there is no soda or alcohol but that is a trick as I have a mini fridge full of soda in the living room wetbar. Oh and people don't put bananas in the freezer. I have my fruits and breads bakery goods on the kitchen counter.

I also do not currently have a bleeding stomach ulcer. But thank you for your concern

So you are living on sunshine and positive energy from the Universe? What makes you think any kind of food is unhealthy? I have 3 pizzas in my freezer that doesn't mean I am living on frozen pizza. There is mixed greens in my crisper drawer which you can't see. I had 3 green salads yesterday. Peds absolutely do not improve digestion. The last thing I want to do is limit my calories when you are training you need to eat more a lot more I couldn't eat too much if I tried I don't need to get any leaner. I also have a cupboard full of rice and pasta and tuna and oatmeal and olive oil you know stuff that doesn't require a fridge. And I eat out order in probably 4-5 times a week.

I thought the name of the game was getbig not starve yourself thin. Abs are plenty lean enough this am. I am eating a half pound of sausage and gravy biscuits now

Oh and I have 2 things of guacamole in the fridge you know avacoda

You obviously don't know a damn thing. Stomach issues associated with steroids Acid reflux, bloating and ulcers have been linked to the use of steroids as a result of stomach acid production being increased due to the hormonal imbalance caused. And again I am not eating a ton of processed food fucking nonsense. Food is not inflammatory non food additives are inflammatory. First you say PEDS then you say steroids then you finish with an article on testosterone. Do you not fucking realize those are 3 different things????

You are just wasting food, your body simply cannot assimilate the nutrients because you are constantly over eating

I cycle the calories up and down based on my training and how I am feeling. I push for a bit then I rest for a bit weight goes up then comes back down and gets a little tighter at a higher weight each time. It takes time to add quality mass. I have absolutely made gains since I started here a year ago. If I put up pics from 2 years ago it is even more obvious. Also I had an injury setback outside the gym and I am 44 years old it is a marathon not a sprint. If I was over eating I would be fat and bloated in the AM and I am not.  This is 2 winters ago vs yesterday back def look bigger. I also seem to have gotten over my stomach digestive issues. I believe they were stress related. Again though most of my energy is going to the legs this winter.

The lighting was washing out the arm detail was my first day using the light boxes and backdrop still figuring it out. I think the hernia is barely noticeable now certainly much better than this last summer. Also I am heavier and stronger so I know I have made gains, and I like working out even if I was just working out to maintain that would not be a waste of time at this point we can all always look worse.

I think my torso is what improved the most between the two pics. 2 years ago I was just getting back into it. The arms come back first then the back and eventually the legs. But yeah 9 months ago I had a significant injury which slowed down the progress. Oh and there is a 15lb difference between those pics

Oh yeah and how the fuck is Wes going to call anyone Tiny. 55 is dwarfing you

so looks can be and are deceiving
looking good and shitting cobbler 24x7 may not be a good trade-off

This is not my best condition this is my winter bulk my best condition is usually September. Blood pressure is great no hypertension at all. I need to work on the lighting. Also my digestive issues have improved immensely the last few months

I eat avocados, fish oi (capsules and from salmon with skin i cook), olive oil, and natural peanut butter (only peanuts and salt as ingredients) for good fats.    What are you eating for good fat?     Many of these processed foods such as the pizza in your fridge have refined oil which is unhealthy fat. 

Some processed food like frozen pizza makes my stomach upset.  I'm also lactose intolerant so I use milk with lactase (fairlife).    Many processed foods contain MSG and a lot of companies use other names for MSG so it's hidden in the ingredients list.   MSG increases appetite.   For a natural guy it's hard to be ripped eating processed foods like pizza and pre-made pasta salads with refined oils.   PEDs increase metabolism and improve digestion so it's easier of course.    A natural guy can also be ripped eating junk like this but most will have to calorie count and be careful with portions. 

Also I don't see any vegetable in your fridge. I have broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower often especially when i'm looking to get leaner.    They aren't necessary but they do help fill up the stomach to avoid overeating calories and they do add some good nutrients.     If I had to eat just 5 foods they would be:   Steak, Salmon, oatmeal, fruit, avocados - I  digest these foods the best, they have all the nutrients required, they make me feel the best relative to other foods, and I enjoy eating them.

Agree with this, now just figure out how to post normal pics that don't look like you're performing on webcam for prime.

I competed in a lower weight class.....so what.

My first contest was in `nineteen eighty seven copping fourth in my local contest Mr. Springfield Mass......I missed many a years due to alcolohism and drug use seven stright to be exact, then another five or so.all the time annihalating myelf.....completely going down the tubes.....didn`t train at all from eighty  to eighty six and abused my body to the bone......Trust me I know it`s a cliche` but I was truly a victim of circumsatnce.

Competed in Florida in ninety ninety three.....came in last in my class.....got back to the drawing board and did quite well for me with my sparrowlike bone structure and limited genetics and my prior lifestyle.

Only entered prestigous contests and did over sixty or so competitions....too late for me to get big at forty years of age but still beat four guys to win my class at the prestigous Southern States contet in Lauderdale being five years older than anyone in the class and it was upwards and onwards since then,at times doing 5-7 contets a years.....I looked great at first but my condition declined due to doing so many shows in one year but I felt like I had lost time to make up.

You have no idea of nightmwarieh exitance I had been through,all of my life actually.....thirt trhree years or o of def iling my body.....tpo late to get huge at firty ,especially with my sparrow like bone tructure and non legs but I trained hard to try to bring them up.....much harder than you are be sure of it.

All in all I did fine in my mond as most thouht I would did from liver problems or an OD.....P.S.,.....they are all dead.

I`m proud of my meager accomplishments under the circumstances and amd getting back into great condition as I type tho....not for a contes.....you do 57 or more than talk to me.

Not bragging like you,just was never in the hand that dealt me to have a big bodyweighing only fourty four in all my contest competing at 57 years of age.....on a sidenot I was older than you at most contests competing at 57 on 2011 and placing quite well even in the open cloas.

That is one of the main reasons I stopped working with the clinic I don't like needles much less taking blood out of veins in my arms. They fuck up my arms every damn time and I can't train for days walking around with track marks bruising and pain. The clinics require blood work every couple months. I didn't want to do it again. I only went in the first place in a hope to help heal the March injury. My prescriptions ran out months ago.

Once you do good with this, add in white rice, local honey, berries, oranges, apples, etc as long as your body and immune system can handle them.

On 2-3 meals a day I consistently lose weight. My snacks have 30g of protein. I would starve to death if I eliminated carbs. I would die if I tried to live on white rice, honey, and fruit. I do not use powders I eat real food. This is what I remember from yesterday I don't consider this stuffing this was just eating when hungry. I did not train as I felt I needed another day of rest. I did go for a walk outside. I plan to train today. I woke up around 219 and went to bed around 224. My bowel movements were regular I did not wake up to poop. I stated previously I am currently not having any gastro digestive issues, no ulcers ,no acid reflux, yesterday no excess pooping digestion was good. Not taking any medications OTC or prescription for any digestive issues or anything else. Blood pressure was normal.

I will say I am just now getting over a cold and my morning weight had dropped to just below 215 and is now trending back up to its normal 220am and 225pm

Yesterday I started with my typical
half pound of sausage and gravy with 4 corn bread biscuits.
I then had 3 bowls of homemade beef and bean chili with cheese
A roast beef sandwich on a kaisser roll with 2 slices of cheese and mayo
A bowl of Lobster Bisque soup
3 mixed green salads with vinegar and olive oil

I do not use powders I eat real food. This is what I remember from yesterday I don't consider this stuffing this was just eating when hungry. I did not train as I felt I needed another day of rest. I did go for a walk outside. I plan to train today. I woke up around 219 and went to bed around 224. My bowel movements were regular I did not wake up to poop. I stated previously I am currently not having any gastro digestive issues, no ulcers ,no acid reflux, yesterday no excess pooping digestion was good. Not taking any medications OTC or prescription for any digestive issues or anything else. Blood pressure was normal.

I will say I am just now getting over a cold and my morning weight had dropped to just below 215 and is now trending back up to its normal 220am and 225pm

Yesterday I started with my typical
half pound of sausage and gravy with 4 corn bread biscuits.
I then had 3 bowls of homemade beef and bean chili with cheese
A roast beef sandwich on a kaisser roll with 2 slices of cheese and mayo
A bowl of Lobster Bisque soup
3 mixed green salads with vinegar and olive oil
5-6 slices of wheat bread with extra butter
a cheese danish
corn chips with guacamole
a 4 ounce italian ice
8 oz coke
3 32oz gatorades
2 cups rice pudding

you obviously keep your waist in check
many do not
they keep over-stuffing
you stay lean so obviously a fast metabolism

Exactly as soon as you start getting too stuffed bring the calories down. I adjust how much I eat based on the scale and the mirror and how I feel. Also I dont eat the same everyday eat a lot for a couple days then a little for a couple days and let the body clean out and adjust. You can tell when the body is ready to be stuffed and when it needs a break. If digestion is good keep eating if you are feeling sluggish and bloated cut back

It really is that simple people need to listen to their bodies not count calories and macros your body will tell you what it needs if you pay attention. Also I think people need to know you don't need a bunch of powders you can eat actual food and diverse food at that you don't need to live on chicken and broccoli. Just eat prioritize protein stop when full and train. It's that simple. Then throw in an occasional mukbang if trying to make some gains.

The veg (salad/beans), the meat, and the guacamole are filling your hunger enough to keep you from eating too many portions of processed, high calorie foods.  This is why you're able to be lean.    A cup of pasta salad for example is a small serving size.     Do you ever eat cookies or cereal?  These are a couple foods that are particularly tough to eat in small serving sizes.   The key is to include enough vegetables, good fat sources and protein which you're doing.     Your diet approach is similar to Mike Mentzer's.    However limiting foods with refined oils would be better for your health.   A pizza made with olive oil instead of canola oil (digiornos) would be better.   The corn bread biscuits and cheese danish also are probably high in refined oil (bad fat).

I then purchased a bunch of food I don't eat to put in my fridge and freezer to sell the lie? I used a clinic last summer to help recover from an injury last March. I did not like doing bloodwork and when they asked me to do more bloodwork to continue my expensive treatment in July I declined. I have no idea what my hormone levels are now. I am not going to any doctors for anything. I stopped all medications from my gastro and my HRT clinic at the end of the summer. It is now Feb and while I am no longer 230lbs I am 225lbs and I feel great I am not having any digestive issues. I did get a cortisone shot in my left elbow in November other than that I am not taking any otc or prescriptiopn medications or experimental peptides I do not use any protein powders or take any NSAIDs. I have mentioned the training and metabolic benefits of cannabis and I do use a legal hemp product for it's arthritis, digestion, and metabolic benefits. I don't care what anyone else does or doesn't take. I am willing to try any magic pills anyone wants to send me but I decided it wasn't worth the money and hassle for me personally. I don't know if discontinuation is why my digestion is better or not but my stomach and guts feel the best they have felt in years. I am also slowly adding more weight to compound movements so I do believe I am improving if slowly on simple food.

Supplements will not get you in shape there is no magic pill. Everyone is taking the same supplements the difference is food training and recovery. People need to focus more on those variables and stop thinking they can just take a magic pill it does not work that way. You can take every supplement in the book if you follow the nutrition and diet and training advice I see everyone posting here you will get nowhere. You have to eat a lot of whole food

As a bodybuilder trying to gain muscle the stomach should never be empty. The belly absolutely should be round not flat 90% of the time. The question is do you have visceral fat and I don't have any that means when empty my midsection is flat and tight as shit.

My gains are actually going to come in the way of dropping mass. I'm still fairly lean at 223 but carrying that around is still a bit much and the tendonitis in both forearms are in too much pain. Looking to drop down to 200-205. I am on 200mg test and some arimidex

Normally, any time I’ve competed Iv always used armidex and never had issues.

It apparently reaches havoc on your cholesterol levels but I never had issues.

I started using it a couple of weeks ago (yes, after 2 years of it sitting up in my cabinet) as a last resort, I even went to PT for awhile and it really seems to be helping. i get tendinitis bad too and I'm not massive.    I sometimes have to avoid certain exercises or do partial reps for some exercises and gotta massage the shit out of my arms, and stretch.  I don't think it's a size problem but a lack of warming up and/or stretching and doing exercises that irritate the tendons.

a few other incidental.

I`ll have a pizza or ub or KFC if the urge trikes me.

And no I`m not taking pics of a stupid refrigerator.

If you take advantage of specials, the price per lb can constantly  be driven down - for example,  I get 2lbs of grass fed ground beef and 1lb of uncured bacon free every order for as long as I utilize it.  And, the price of the delivery never changed, even as there were shortages and inflation.

The depth is good.

The weight is only half what you claimed you can rep.

My suggestion is to drop down to 165 lbs bodyweight and pay to put on Strongman contests that you can enter and have everyone laugh at you. Wear a pink shirt…seems to help.

However, the issue is you were screaming up and down for 4 weeks how you would be able to do 8-15 reps with 405..even 315 for reps.

I have been trying the ass to grass squat and I'm not sure it's beneficial at this point.

Like yesterday, I pulled something below kneecap on inner right shin, there's nothing there but tendon or something lol.

I will be Ok, but on the extreme depth, weird shit happens.

Since I care more about speed and stuff rather than bodybuilding, I might be better off with parallel box squats and stuff.

Since you guys are slow notice first pic is 90 degrees with 365. 2nd pic is 45 degrees with 225. I never claimed I could do a 45 degree squat with 405. I said I could do a squat as in the first pic. I am training  deep today not one rep maxing. When I go back to one rep maxing I will go heavier due to lighter weight deeper training I am sharing one rep close to max lifts and training 2 different things.

It's hard to tell from the angle of the picture/video.

Take the stupid belt off, it's way too loose to being doing anything at all, except making you look like a tool bag.

Get an Inzer power belt and strap it as tight as possible.

I squatted 425 for 6 to 90 degrees in college in 1999 wtf does that have to do with today or the depth of these squats? These are way past 90 my fucking ass is on my ankles. No one else is squatting to this depth in the gym. 365 is in the ballpark of 405 I am now going lighter and deeper it's called training. I could have thrown 375 on the bar and done a 90 degree squat but I did deep light sets instead today. I can't win I go too heavy and its your going to hurt yourself go deeper and lighter. I go deeper and lighter and its see we told you that you can't go heavy. I can do both. I do both. But considering 2 months ago I hadn't squatted in a decade and 2 years ago I was on a cane I think I am doing great. I also had already done 50+ squats prior to this. Since you guys are slow notice first pic is 90 degrees with 365. 2nd pic is 45 degrees with 225. I never claimed I could do a 45 degree squat with 405. I said I could do a squat as in the first pic. I am training  deep today not one rep maxing. When I go back to one rep maxing I will go heavier due to lighter weight deeper training I am sharing one rep close to max lifts and training 2 different things.


Just stick to working on 225 with the form you have and working up in reps. I know this is Getbig and we all give each other shit, but that's a good squat!


The legs are loaded with type IIA fibers- which are medium power/medium endurance. They will blow up with reps because they support glycolysis (lactate generation). The IIA fibers can be converted to IIB fibers later on- that is the fiber group associated with high power/low rep strength aka powerlifting strength. Type IIB fibers have low endurance.

Sure fine wes whatever you say your 10 year old pic with an FFMI of 22 beats my current pic with an FFMI of 29 because objective math doesn't matter. You would have to be 207lbs 9% bodyfat at a height of 5 foot 8 to have the same FFMI as me you have never been anywhere near 207lbs

Jesus man wake up it's 2022 Zane is just fucking small. Dickerson was 195lbs at 5 foot 6 that puts his ffmi around 30. Bannout was 215lbs at 5foot7 or ffmi of 32. They were both big guys just short again FFMI accounts for height. Wes ffmi is 22 mine is 29 big fucking difference not close at all. Oh yeah and zane was 59 at 195 so that puts him around 27.5. Again Wes is a 22 that is not even big for a natural competitor

He is also 5foot2 which at 175lbs (he actually competes at 185lbs now but lets use 175) that still gives him an FFMI of 31 if you give him an 8% bodyfat and he is lower than that which means his FFMI is higher

At 185 with an 8% bodyfat at 5foot2 his FFMI is over 32

Can anyone tell me how the fuck you people don't know what FFMI is and how it works? It accounts for fucking height 185lbs at 5foot2 is fucking huge. Wes is 150lbs and he is not 4 feet tall he is 5foot8 that is an FFMI of 22 which is motherfucking petite

You can check my posts......for years I have said I was a journeyman type of bodybuilder with a below average build who needed tons of work and that I was nothing special but I do the best I can with what piss poor genes I have been cursed with....also I missed lots of years due to substance abuse,over a decade all told......not an excuse,just one of many reasons why I`m not better than I should be....it`s my own fault,but I did OK for me and that`s all that matters.....I also did 99% of my contests after I turned forty,except one in 87 and one teen show I dont talk about ;D .....not that I ows your pampered queer as an explanation.

I squatted 425 for 6 to 90 degrees in college in 1999 wtf does that have to do with today or the depth of these squats? These are way past 90 my fucking ass is on my ankles. No one else is squatting to this depth in the gym. 365 is in the ballpark of 405 I am now going lighter and deeper it's called training. I could have thrown 375 on the bar and done a 90 degree squat but I did deep light sets instead today. I can't win I go too heavy and its your going to hurt yourself go deeper and lighter. I go deeper and lighter and its see we told you that you can't go heavy. I can do both. I do both. But considering 2 months ago I hadn't squatted in a decade and 2 years ago I was on a cane I think I am doing great. I also had already done 50+ squats prior to this. Let's see any of you squat real weight deeper.
