Is there a link to this routine or pics?

You can download the BB.com webcast... it's probably 1/2 way in... before the pro men's finals.

i suppose lip service after the fact could be a form of "athlete representation"

You still havn't explained how for the next time Armin is supposed to know ahead of time
that his flight will get delayed so that he can tell the promoter?

Hey Armin-

Thanks for posting and lending some insight into the situation.

To answer your question....If you were to let the promoter of ANY pro show in advance that you were to be delayed, or some other circumstance...they would be more than accomodating and work with the athlete as best they can....especially with a European competitor who is coming from a long way to compete.

Best of luck to you in your next show....

See...I told you that you looked good enough to compete...!

Get on stage big man...Olympia is coming!!

First...you have to be IN the show for it to be relevant.

Second....how about a PHONE CALL?

I will be the first to admit that when a girl does this kind of pose that I posted above, the first place I look is at her crotch area. I certainly would not want my 10 year old daughter doing that kind of shit on stage.

I hope you never watch the Olympics then. You see 12-15yr old girls do this on their floor routines all the time.

Second....how about a PHONE CALL?

Was that implied, or directly stated?

Armin is from another culture.  In america, phone calls for "FYI" might be the norm.  Over there, they have different ways of doing things.

Were not talking about "FYI" in any other sense other than "Hey...I'd like to do your show, put my name down"....or....."send me a contract for your show.." etc.

Everthing after that and any of the 100 scenario's are irrelevant.

In NASCAR if you miss a drivers meeting you get put in last place in the starting grid.  Seeing as bodybuilding isn't a race...it seems appropriate that they kept him from competing.

As a pro....he should know this stuff.  The whining about this alleged "missed flight" seems fake & obtuse.

Armin isn't whining, didn't complain, and wasn't even expecting to be let in the show.....

But should have been allowed to compete regardless.

Yes, he should have called, but even so, his NOT being in the show only hurt the promoters and fans.

No, he shouldn't have. It would ot have been fair to the other 17 athletes that somehow managed to get their contracts in on time, and make the mandatory meeting.

right or wrong, once again the IFBB looks petty.  you'd think they'd want to stop doing that.

That's what I said a few times already but it's being ignored.
Shawn was bragging how DJ would do his show, when Melvin said DJ didn't sign a contract and concentrated on NY show 100% so it wasn't sure yet.
Shawn then said no contract was needed to enter his show and DJ already told him he would do the show.
Ofcourse the posts are deleted so I can't bring it up anymore but maybe somebody saved that one (MattC?)

Issue is cleared already so I'll let it go this time  ;)

It's not being ignored...it's already been explained...a few times.

If the promoter didn't require signed contracts prior to a certain date, he at least required a verbal or written commitment from the athlete....DJ had a verbal agreement...Armin had neither.
