Didn't Shawn made it clear awhile ago that no contract was needed to enter his show, when it was said that DJ didn't sign a contract to do his show?
So what are you trying to say here?

How come Armin received his number (19) for the show, handed in his posing music, was told everything was ok, only to be approached 20 minutes later in the dressing room by an IFBB official who told him he can't compete because it's mandatory to attend the athletes meeting in order to compete?
The official didn't mention signing a contract as the reason for not competing.

Interesting.

Bob, who made the decision to not allow this man to compete?

What does the show lose in not letting an athlete compete?
It's not that the audience would boo him away because he didn't sign his supposed to be contract on time?
How was this move good for bodybuilding/IFBB?

God knows they can use some positive energy now...

The IFBB Pro League should be happy for any competitor.
Otherwise it's digging his own grave. I remember when the NY Pro Show was called "Night of Champions" with 50 IFBB Pros and 2800 sold out seats. 3 weeks ago it was 19 competitors and 600 seats.
What went wrong???

See the problem is you have to have rules in anything.  If you make an exception for one guy, whats next exceptions for everybody?  see people will start stretching the rules and using their own interpretations, this causes huge problems and no integrity within the organization.  What would happen if this guy or anyone else went on to win after being allowed leeway after others all followed the rules by the book.....there would be an outrage and rightfully so.

The rules must be enforced across the board to everyone from the top to the bottom.  Anything else is Anarchy.

So, he basically tried to what Arnold did in 1980? The difference is that Arnold was the IFBB golden boy and Armin is not.

With bullshit like this, I am expecting for midget wrestling to overtake bodybuilding in popularity any day now.

Armin's flight got delayed so he missed the athletes meeting and they didn't let him compete because of that

class act  ::)

I love Armin, but a missed flight IS his fault.  He knew when the contest was and when the meeting was.  We all know flights can be delayed one or even two days.  It was his responsibility to ensure he arrived in time to attend such a meeting.  I would have let him compete, but I can’t find fault with anyone who would not.

The amount of time he spent getting ready for the show is a side issue and irrelevant.

The ironical point is we heard that Sean was aware of Silvio's photos before the New York Pro and 'saved' Silvio afterwards. How come Sean didn't see Armin's photos that everyone else saw here and on Milos' site? Typical selective interpretation of rules again, perhaps? Bodybuilding is becoming a vaudeville side show nowadays. The more we hear the more we shake our heads at what goes on again and again.

Here is why Armin wasn't allowed to compete:

Guy looks good.....in the gym by himself.  Up on stage with the others is a completely different story.

You guys don't seem to get it do you?  Anyone who has anything to do with this guy:

Will never amount to anything in the IFBB.

Silvio was from that camp and they muscled his ass out of it, Armin is from that camp and while it was STATED CLEARLY BEFORE THAT NO CONTRACT WAS NEEDED and even after ARMIN SHOWED UP AND WAS GIVEN HIS NUMBER, ALONG WITH THEM ACCEPTING HIS POSING MUSIC, the IFBB reps put things together and sniffed the Milos off of him and then decided to teabag his ass while fully awake...

I saw Milos at the expo and asked him why he wasnt competing because we heard on getbig that Milos may compete...

Milos told me and my friend that the IFBB banned/suspended him from competing....

I would have loved to see Milos onstage competing

I dont understand why the IFBB would ban some of its athletes who would bring excitement to the sport...

He's not banned. He's suspended for 1 year currently, however look for Bob to speak more on it tomorrow on PBW.

Not sure I follow - what does Armin not competing have to do with Milos not competing?

The two have nothing to do with one another.

this practice is called double standards:

if a colored person is late it's ok because it's in their culture but if a caucasian is late...there'll be hell to pay!   :)

Armin was never IN the show...never signed a contract in advance, never called the promoter to say he was coming, never had anyone else say he would be competing.

I talked to him myself about 2 weeks ago at Golds Venice and asked him if he would be competing in Colorado...he saiud he didn't think so.

He just showed up the day of the show...it had nothing to do with him missing a flight...no one knew he was coming in the first place.

As usual...you guys jump to conclusions without ever asking for the full story and details...pathetic.
