Author Topic: how many times can you bench 315(no lying please) (Read 31477 times)

...a guy in my gym benched 405, then got up, waited 30 seconds, and hit 315 ten times.

i was extremely impressed at that....never seen any one bench more than 315 before. and the most reps i had ever seen done with 315 before that was 5.

Yeah... he never rolls around without a shirt or anything, so I can only say it looks thick... and his arms... his arms are fucking huge... on his frame they just look massive.

I can always do 2reps no matter if I am tired or not in my usual shape. Best I have done is 5 times. I am around 89-90 kg. I never go hevay no more in the barbell bench press, dont get the stimulation in the muscle in the exercise what about you guys. I prefer to use the dumbbells and incline barbell press and the machines rather then the usual bench press

Was it Dennis Cieri?

Because the strength to do that type of routine at that bodyweight is probably only Cieri and the very elite benchpressers in the world able to do.

Well, I don't live in the city the guy does anymore... I'm on the west coast now, but I'll be back in Richmond, Va. this coming weekend... If I see him at the gym, I'll see if it's cool by him though.

8-9 reps at 220 pounds,3 years ago,5-6 reps now at 212 pounds but i dont bench press so much right now cause of injury...
