Let me break it down for you guys so you don't fall into the "curse of hallmark" that is valentines day. When you first meet a girl she will go out of her way to show you how intelligent she is and not the typical bimbo, after all if your a decent guy she will want to present her self as marriage material, if she's a whore. . . well you get what you pay for(dont expect much). Casually, and not within 2 months of february or it will seem as a copout, you have to mention how you hate the idea of valentines day because it is "sooooo corporate" and that if you really love someone you don't need a "card company" to tell you to appreciate them. Of course she will agree with you and actually think she has bagged a "real romantic". Then when valentines day rolls around don't get her anything. She will have no choice but to not say anything or else she looks like a liar and girls can never admit to making mistakes. BOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!! Now you never ever have to get a valentines gift!
If you've already gotten her a gift in the past. . . well, your screwed.
