Did you find you had muscle maturity in your 40's or did you not get any until you hit 50?

Why does this "Determinator" deem himself as a top poster....  ???

Hes not funny and his posts are mediocre....
I bet in highschool he was one of those nerds always desperately tryin to join the cool crowd but instead he got a slap in the face.
Poor guy, his life revolves around a message board  :-\

I am not meaning to be "funny," as you put it, and my posts, save for this type of defence post, are first class. Hence your first point is incorrect.
Regarding your statement concerning my schooling. No such scenario unfolded. Hence your statement is again, unsurprisingly, incorrect.
Finally, my life does not "revolve around a message board," again as you put it. I merely post here on occasion to enrich other posters life's. This is one of the selfless qualities possessed by the exclusive big6. Remember, you also post on this board, and in reply to me, hence, that would infer, in your own train of thought, that your own life *also* revolves around a message board. Food for thought perhaps?

One thing that never fails to amuse me, is a highly unintelligent individual trying to sound intelligent.

Kudos for the effort Determinator, however you fail miserably at trying to convince us of your supreme intellectual capacity.

On the contrary. I am not under any notion trying to "convince" anyone of my so-called (to use your own words) "supreme intellectual capability." Thus you argument, as per an above poster, is similarly incorrect.

For the record, I happen to have attained a first class honours degree in mathematics. Yes, that achievement is always made by unintellectual people.

Misquoted.
Grammatical errors.

Now this is just getting plain embarassing for you. Perhaps some readers of these boards would be willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, however, I must dismiss you as yet another member of the infidel. Please delete your account while you still have some self esteem left.

The getbig big 6 was simultaneously "created" by the exclusive members, namely, myself, gh15, mars, 240, howie and donkeykong. It was almost a *sixth sense* that compelled us to act in the manner of saviours and keep the board alive with our collective wisdom and knowledge. I suppose that it is like muscular maturity, in that it is hard to define, but one knows that it exists.

Surely someone as dense as yourself would maybe realise that perhaps, just perhaps, the "you" was supposed to be the word "your?" Ditto for the misquote. I'm sure that the getbiggers do not painfully analyse their own posts prior to submission? Come on, even you could work that one out. Well, perhaps.

BTW, whilst we are on this subject, you would do well to remember that "embarassing" is supposed to be spelt with two r's. Like you said, "embaRRassing."

So now I am "dense".
Could the intellectually elite "Determinator" be resorting to the childish artform of name calling?
Whats the matter.... was the battle of wits too taxing on your poor wittle brain. Does baby want to go on the ground and have a kick? Oh there there mommy will make it all better....

i would say muscle maturity is a phrase coined by people who want to downplay the greatness of young physiques. a guy like coleman may have muscle maturity, but his physique is horrible. a guy like heath may not have muscle maturity, but his muscles are full, separated, striated and has a very nice looking physique. so do with that what you will.

if im wrong and there is an explanation for it, please inform us!

when I think of muscle maturity i think of the quality of the muscle.

Mature muscle is very dense, hard and dry.  It is not something that can be earned your first time dieting down, it usually takes years.

Alex A is correct.

You will see this time of muscle on guys who have been consistently training for 20 years and up, and who are often in their late 30's, forties and even fifties.....time is the only way to come upon these results...and very hard, injury-free (relatively) training...

Alex, give examples of muscle maturity and immaturity with pros or amateurs, please. I want to see if my definition of dense is the same as yours.

John Citrone vs. Evan Centopani

Citrone= 40+ year competitor...still looks great

Centopani= several year competitor...best years still ahead of him...looks great in different way
