I (personally or as we all know by internet) know plenty of off season bodybuilders weighing in the 300+ and they either never compete or look like shit when they compete. Dennis James is the perfect example and many more like it.

Vic is a huge hype machine and I was expecting to know better from someone like you, you don't win contests by sending off season pics to the judge.

Also , 03 Ronnie was heavier, larger and leaner than Vic ever was

I think with a few more weeks of dieting Vic could have had the kind of definition that you see here that Jay had for last years Olympia. We can only imagine.

I guess since Vic never competed it really isn't fair to compare him to any of todays top guys. For example, here is a pic of Jay at his best on the Olympia stage. He is at his peak as far as contest shape. Here is a pic of Vic without contest dieting and none of the other preparatory details one would go thru for a show. Not a fair comparison, but I think that Vic looks pretty good, but certainly nothing compared to Jay.

When he started dieting down....the fullness started to disappear.


He hated the ritual of dieting & never liked how he looked as he started to lean out.



I personally think he would have at best made a top 5 spot at the Olympia.

Yes you are correct, he has very think skin and this pic is proof of that. Of course we need to keep in mind that this is just an everyday gym shot. With 20 weeks of dieting can you imagine how ripped he would heve been?

    On another note, I have already bought my ticket for the Olympia this year. I think that Dexter has a very good chance of dethroning jay. I also thought that Wolf could too, but too many guys "in the know" don't seem to agree. Actually at this point I'm not so sure bout Dexter winning. From the sounds of it Jay most likey will threepeat his win this coming Oct. Anyone wanna buy a ticket to the Olympia cheap

I had Victor Richards here in about 95. He was a strong as hell and I have never seen anyone eat so much, I was living with Sonny and the Samoans at the time and even they were lifted. Chicken and rice about 8 times a day, 2 chicken breasts and 2-4 cups of rice every time. He told me in a seminar that his favorite pig out food, diet food and Sunday food was all chicken and rice. After eating with him for a few days, I have no doubt that is all he ate.

If my calculations are correct (and I wouldn't bet on it  ) that's between 4640 and 7360 cals per day. Damn that's a lotta rice.

I brought Nasser out here a few times. He was probably bigger overall, in 97 he was the best in the world. Nasser was amazing to interview and easy to work with. In his off season he could really eat as well. However Nasser was not limited to chicken and rice, we used to eat from the local bakery in the day time and have some local beers at night. He was an amazing guy to talk to and he can really talk. 7 languages and very intelligent. He was very kind to the fans and always cracking us up with his observations. I am not sure if I have more shots of Victor. I will look. In the mean time here is a photo of an interview with Nasser.

ive always been a fan of Nasser- i enjoyed his dvd's- he has a very dry , subtle sense of humor as uve confirmed
Nasser cops alot of flak on these boards but he was one of the greats.

Nasser does not speak 7 languages, and graduating from college, on it's own, does not make you intelligent.

Nasser had no social intelligence at all, and that becomes more and more clear as he fades from being relevant in BBing to- only coming out to attack people.
