Terrible argument. 1: Disease can be inherited. 2: People act on incomplete information all the time, thus they do not always act in the best interest of their health even though they believe so. 3: Your argument does not apply very well to young people.
Given your reasoning, a 12 year old with cancer (inherited or not) or another terrible disease coming from a poor family that can not afford health insurance is a product of his own actions. Go figure

The only real application for your argument is for self destructive fatties like Vince Basile, smokers and other reckless people, that is understandable. But your argument fails terribly at discrediting socialized healthcare, and it is really contains retarded reasoning.
