Bolt's only 21, just turned 22 yesterday. He's still young. Of course he's going to boast. All the other athletes do too. The guy who got 2nd in the 100 was going wild. Was funny. He should congratulate the other racers after he wins but it's not the end of the world. Eventually he'll lose and then the guy who wins will probably be bragging in his face.

yes......runners (especially 100m guys) are arrogant. I used to run the 100 and 4X100 in hs and college and played FB...they are ALL D!CKS. (most of them atleast)

I just ran cause the coaches asked, so I never really got along with them. lol

If they dare came to the grid iron (which they didn't after they saw us hitting)...I probably would have killed them for letting a coach lie to them and tell them to try to play football. lol

I have no beef with them though. They are just "soft"

Come to think about, I'd probably be shouting too if I were the world's fastest man.

I don't know enough about Bolt, but my guess is that he's like the typical NFL wide reciever, although I admit that I could be wrong and he's just a dude who's really proud for his country and what he's accomplished. Carribean culture is a little different.

Methinks he couldn't care less about Jamaica. I haven't heard him talk about them once in any of his post race speeches. But he has talked about how he blew the world away and what not. Not that it matters. He's done most of his training in the USA.

all in all I have no beef with what he did.

I would have probably had a limo waiting, opened the sun roof , put a crown and robe on and waived to everybody as we circled the entire stadium if I ran that 100 or 200 like he did.

Bolt hugged them, they were lifting each other, doing that banging their chests together stuff, the WI and American guys. If some guy thinks a 21yr should somberly shake hands like some bank meeting fine, let him think that. Bolt is still the 100 and 200m winner and record holder of both. He's on top of the world at this time, JA is as well, and not that anyone would understand, but his actions and the female sprinters will have an unprecendented positive socio-economic impact for the young kids in sports throughout the region.
