Nice workout Nat.....on a side note,my neighbor across the road is selling me eggs for 2 bucks a dozen......the yolks are almost a bright orange color.  :)

That's a really good price for eggs.

They have gone up a lot because of the bird flu.

Best I can find is ALDI for $3.96/dozen.

When I first started lifting you'd hear about from the old timers. Some 150lb string bean in a wife beater would be told to go put a shirt on ;D
Hell yeah bro.......I could tell you lots of incidents where the flotsam and jetsam (shades of Vince Basile ;D ) in my gym were humiliated by people.  :D

My younger sister back in Mass. told me yesterday that they were over 6 dollars a dozen there.....that`s just fucking insane greed.

I hate the guy across the street but he had so many eggs he offered them to us for free but my wife insisted on paying the KUNT so he asked for 2 bucks........personally,and I have my reasons, I was gonna` break his legs a few years back with a bat,but I digress. :D

My fridge is full  but I`m not actually training just exercising but now that I have that fucking port in my chest it`s curtailed a lot of stuff I was doing.......sorry to ramble but I`m a bit pissed off about it.

Eggs will cure you.  They have anabolic properties.

Eggs will cure you.  They have anabolic properties.

“A number of egg proteins and peptides have been reported to induce apoptosis in cancer cells, protect against DNA damage, decrease the invasion ability of cancer cells, and exhibit cytotoxic and antimutagenic activity in various cancer cell lines. Furthermore, egg proteins and peptides can stimulate or suppress pro- or anti-inflammatory cytokines, as well as affect the production of inflammatory mediators in a variety of cell lines.”

there might be some benefits here but to say it will cure him is a bit misleading
vince Gironda as you know was a big fan of eggs & he died of Heart failure.
some say his high intake of Calcium caused it.

The bright orange yolks are usually indicative of the pasture raised hens.

I am currently in Florida - the pastured eggs are 8-11 bucks a dozen here.  In Assachusetts, those are 7 bucks easy, unless you get a costco that has the pastured ones instead of cage free.

Either way, wes has the best egg deal on the planet.

Was down the way in Florida for the week.

Found a small warehouse/garage style gym 2 years ago that only charged 10 bucks for the day so I wanted to see if still in business. It also had an outdoor turf area with sleds and stuff....

They were, they added a bunch of stuff, like a cold plunge/sauna option, etc.....

A weekly membership was..............35 bucks.  And if you wanted the "spa" access to the cold/sauna stuff it was only another 10.

And, they also gave access codes so you could go 24/7 (incredibly trusting), so Christmas Chestmas DID happen (we had a lot of free time).

Pretty awesome deal.

When is the awards process starting?  I checked over on the committee board and it's deader than a Royalty thread.

The Committee™ never reacts until the year is complete.

However, they could have their hands full since this was a shit year collectively.

It was mostly hankins posting, then a group meltdown by others.

Yeah. I felt myself getting worn out. It was time for a break.
Besides being sick I really didn't take any breaks for all of 2024 besides being on a cruise last January. Even in Myrtle beach over the last summer I went to the gym.
