What Freak said:  "You're gonna have to come in absolutely shredded to even get looked at."

What Freak should have said:  "Wow Mike, you're looking better, getting leaner.  Good Job.  Props to ya man.  You said you were going to work on it and you're doing it.  I wish you luck in your show."

First look is that your lack of leg thickness and wide/thick waist are gonna kill you.  You have alot of work to do from now until your show which is right around the corner.  I still honestly think you should wait until the fall, but hey thats just me.  OR do the show in five months as a "lets see how it goes" show then do a show in the fall for your real one.

No Way!

here's what you should have said

"your leg thickness is improving and your waist is getting smaller, you should be able to win the contest with ease.  Good luck and I want to give you a rimjob"

No but I do have some positive things to say.
He is looking leaner and on the right track.  His face even looks leaner.

Freakzilla is right though.
I'm always right.  Ya wanna know why?  Cause I'm a man.  Thats why. ;D

Also I'm not picking on Mike I think he's done a great job so far in losing some unwanted blubber and slimming up a bit.  But when it comes to competitive bb'ing you have to be brutally honest with them or they'll think there the shit and walk onstage a get there ass handed to them.  Judges score on what they see from the neck down.  And if Mike wants to do even remotely well he has to come in sliced!

Because....

A. His legs are below average basically because of his height.  Nothing you can do there except shred them up as much as posibble.

B. His waist is to blocky and that is taking away from his overall symetry and proportion.  If he gets that smaller then everything else will look way bigger.  Remember bb'ing all about an illusion.  Judges don't give a shit if your 250 or 150.  If you come in awesome condition the smaller guys will beat the bigger less conditioned guys.  I've seen it happen numerous times and have done it myslef a few times.

C. Chest is well.....not in proportion with his shoulders....not even close.  Just do the best you can do there as well.

Just keep plugging away and do the best you can do Mike.  I'm just an honest sounding board.

Freak :)

Do you take Flax seed oil?  If not you should be.  Take two tablespoons a day.  You'll thank me later.
Freak 8)

IMO fish oil is a better choice for EFA's.  I've posted tons of things in the past along with reasons why and scientific evidence.  No one has ever posted any reason why flax oil is a better choice.

It will be very good for your business to get shredded.

Your shoulders seems to be extremely wide, earlier on it wasn't as obvious, due to all the excess weight.

I think the physique that will start to show in early April, will be a whole different kind of Arvilla.

Will be very interesting.

Oh BTW, good luck and make sure that you won't have to regret all this effort.

In other words, don't do it 97, 98 or 99 percent. Be 100%.

Mike , I started reading through parts of this thread and you are definitely on the right track.  June 10th is a whole contest prep away still and you are already kickin' it into high gear!!  :)       Brother YOU ARE going to be shredded by June 1st!!!   Your body weight means nothing at this point.     All that matters is the change in the mirror/ fat % / and your strength levels..

There is a few nuggets in this thread but listen to your friend exclusively.    Train big , PR's like crazy ,, there is no reason at all why you shouldn't be able to grow right into the next  8 weeks at least..  it is just your lack of conditioning right now.  Push it!!!!!   DO NOT let the weights beat you.  MIND over muscle...   You are still growing.  I don't know who you train with but you need some hardcore bro's to push your big azz  --->>>>  RIGHT NOW!!!!

You will do this Big Mike! You are a champion and you have already won!!

God bless
