See, here Power Rod outright insults mike.
http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=77484.0

Yet he isn't being attacked, cursed, threatened, etc.

I posted twice- one said 'congrats mike' and one asked about his weight class.  Within minutes Cheria had called me every name in the book.  IMO it was some misdirected anger.  She might assume I was being a prick, but I wasn't.

The reason why most Americans are overweight is due to laziness, inconvenience and lack of knowledge.  Eating 1500-2000 calories everyday is also very cheap.   A competiton diet should be a whole lot cheaper than an offseason diet.  The same rule should apply for anyone making a calorie reduction.  I have a 9-5 job and it actually makes things a whole lot easier in that my break times are structured so I can eat on the dot every day.  It really is not hard if you know what to do and when to do it.

Good post though one more rep.
too bad you dont walk the walk.

I guess that means no deadlifting or squats.  I guess you are used to that.

Now that the whole thing is over, I wonder if Arvilla would care to reassess and critique his cutting diet?  IMO, his extreme diet caused him to lose way too much muscle. The bits and pieces he shared looked like he was basically on an all-protein diet! Now, maybe this was necessary because of how fat he was to begin with, I don't know, but it seems to me he unnecessarily sacrificed a ton of muscle.

Comments?

(PS: 10 to 1 Cheri calls me a "hater", despite this being an honest question.)
I personally think he did too much cardio too early on.

Yeah pretty much since I laid my foundation eons ago and now only have to maintain.
For someone looking to get onstage and look great I'd say 1/4th deads, and front squats with sissy squats.

I would agree Mike might have overdieted it happens  for your first contest BUT it's better to come in overdieted with the skin razor sharp then to come in andmake an ass of yourself with love handles. He did the right thing and felt the pain, and now he can make changes next time around that's what it's all about betting yourself and being the best next time around. I'm sure next time he wont drop the carbs as fast.

He looked great and went a long way

You can't beat 300 dollars for a website. This is the monster truth, and that's why people keep going to Rob to get sites done. Anyone bashing Rob needs a cold glass of Haterrade!

I agree. Unless you are willing to fuck around with frontpage or whatever other program, $300 isn't bad deal. Most people aren't tech-savy. They are intimidated by code, etc. If I were a small business owner, who is already short on time, do I fuck around and try to build my site, or pay someone to do it?

In all seriousness, Mike chose to do a BBing show.  Anyone who chooses to stand onstage in trunks - then post those pics online - is obviously seeking opinions, praise, and critiques.  You can't get one without the other.  (Good without the bad).

If Cheri was going to get upset about any critiques, then she should be equally annoyed at the good praise that he has received the last 10 weeks.   Otherwise, a serious double standard would be in place ("You can only tell me good things!") and I couldn't see that happening.  Anyone who does "what it takes" to do a BBing show needs to have thick enough skin to not blow up whenever anyone gives them an honest assessment.

I agree. Unless you are willing to f**k around with frontpage or whatever other program, $300 isn't bad deal. Most people aren't tech-savy. They are intimidated by code, etc. If I were a small business owner, who is already short on time, do I f**k around and try to build my site, or pay someone to do it?

And sites also contain forums, lots of graphic design, video clips, info submit forms, flash intros and siders, search engine optimization, ecomm stores, pic galleries, and for many of my sites, the client asks me to do the bulk of the content writeup.  I build it like I would build my own, then they come in and change things.  If someone has never built a site before, it is a HUGE help having their content done for them, then they can keep what then like, and lose what they don't.   Frontpage can deliver a website, definitely.  But with an experienced person, you also get a lot of intangible things that frontpage can't include.

I just think it is funny that some of you people think it is so hard to eat less food everyday for a few months and maybe throw some cardio in.

You act like dieting down is such an incredible feat.  It really isn`t.  Anyone can do it.  It is the easiest thing in the world and it sure is the easiest aspect of bodybuilding if one does it day in and out.

If it's so damn easy, why haven't you been onstage, other than you having nothing to bring to the stage in the first place.

I guess that means no deadlifting or squats.  I guess you are used to that.

Eating less and doing more cardio can wear you down a good bit. Of course, you lack the testicles to understand such matters.

I don't understand why you guys are jumping all over Mike. Adonis I see why you got upset with Cheri and that is between you two. But what has Mike done to you for the baseless attacks? He never attacked you're pics when you posted them.

When did he say he was better than any natural. When was he anything less than grateful and positive?

Not a flame a serious question.

I totally agree that Mike put his pics up there for criticism good or bad. It is only fair that he gets some negative with the positive. But some of you guys are just making dickhead comments to make them.
