I agree. Unless you are willing to f**k around with frontpage or whatever other program, $300 isn't bad deal. Most people aren't tech-savy. They are intimidated by code, etc. If I were a small business owner, who is already short on time, do I f**k around and try to build my site, or pay someone to do it?
And sites also contain forums, lots of graphic design, video clips, info submit forms, flash intros and siders, search engine optimization, ecomm stores, pic galleries, and for many of my sites, the client asks me to do the bulk of the content writeup. I build it like I would build my own, then they come in and change things. If someone has never built a site before, it is a HUGE help having their content done for them, then they can keep what then like, and lose what they don't. Frontpage can deliver a website, definitely. But with an experienced person, you also get a lot of intangible things that frontpage can't include.
