Nordic is right; Delt and traps for most people seems to have the most androgen receptors..

think about nature and it makes.. :)

I think a factor also is that many dudes who juice really have no idea how to train correctly with mind/muscle connection so they overuse their delts on chest etc,,,

what would you say is your most obstinate bodypart to grow Alex?? I would say for myself its calves, although genetically I just have small calves.  Chest used to be one of my worst but after learning how to flex it properly and carrying that over into training, it grew well.

Biceps...  :-\ Allways been decent size but they just don't grow. Like you said I'm pretty sure it's a neuro connection "issue". The cells are there, just never got good control of that muscle..

OverHyped: Calves. Fat guys & gals usually have good calves with low attachments. So do dwarfs and short asians. Still a cool muscle to have but more about its "development" than shape. In fact shorter calves = do not look impressive until a B-Ball is dunked.

Most Important: Delts. Can't have delts without good genetics. The Epitom of a strong physique. No one question the stenght of a solid male with big delts. End of the story.

Chest is so overrated bodypart.

Disagree.

It takes great effort to make the chest look proportional. Many people no matter how strong they are lack a good upper chest.

Agreed but Klaus mean overrated in term of look when "fully" developed.....

Shoulders prevail.

Matt C and Mike Arvilla are two good examples of guys with well developed shoulders with incredibly weak chest and arms.  They look ridiculous and stupid. Not that Alex looks stupid because he's pretty proportional.

When Arnold started making movies his shoulders shrunk but the chest and arms stayed intact and he still had the powerful alpha male look.

lol based on the posts here there is absolutely no agreement on priority areas.

Smooth and round like the dork in the first two pics of the thread is a good goal-avoid that at all costs. :P

probably because you worry too much about "how" much you lift instead of what you're using to lift it

keep the ego at bay and work on flexing your chest and getting that mind/muscle connection going----also try some pre-exhaust on chest day
