Are my legs that bad?
« on: December 13, 2009, 04:20:05 PM »
I mean i know they obviously need more size and im working on that, but for my weight in this pic 172lbs.  They seem to be ok in size comparison to my upper body?.

not bad really, just that your upper body is noticeably more developed. solid build though.

they look ok, but a little skinny/narrow in comparison, you need more outer to make them look wider.

agreed

yeh i think my legs just need more development, and hardness to match upper body better.

They are good enough. If you get to the point where you lose a show because of them then maybe it's worth only training legs for 3-6 months to bring them up.

I can bet my right ball that u don't train your legs with same enthusiasm and will than the rest of your body. Leg training is a hard, and training a lacking muscle part is never as fun as training your best bodypart.

Nice clean apartment thou, a refection of your personality. (no homo)

matt, how much weight have you gained (onstage) in the last 3 to 5 years?

My thought is that until you add 15 pounds to your stage look, those legs aren't gonna change.

Once they do, however, you'll be a very very good amateur.

No way, tendonitis!  He isn't even in the same league as attention-whoring than Shelby Starnes.

DO you even work out?  You need more muscle mass all over, not just the legs.  Next work on dropping the fat, you look soft and balloon like.

Do you do squats yet, or are you still sticking to the smith machine with limited range of motion?
(This is no way a diss, it just perplexes me that u wana be a pro, but dnt wana work as hard as u possibly can).

Yes i started squatting last fall, and yes in the past i didn't train as hard as i needed to when it came to legs.  Now im getting into when it comes to leg day. Im going to split it up soon just do quads one day, and hams later on in the week.  Obviously i work hard and look the way i do because of it, just iv slacked on legs and it shows, but changing that now.

I think I've done this for you before...

Everything is just a little bigger except your noggen and your wanker (no homo)... actually, I added quite a bit to the quads, lats and arms.. and the calves. Didn't bring your waist down. No need to.

see its like my waist is almost too small? with bigger quads?.  I think if i added that much size to my quads my waist would thicken up a bit, not wider, just thicker.  With 15lbs added size my midsection i think would be a bit bigger/thicker etc.  Would be interesting to see what that would look like

Why would you want to add size to your midsection? And Brian Buchanan and Melvin Anthony would squat heavy and it had no ill effect on their waists
