I loved his stories and his sense of humour. He did a lot of trash talking and was the butt end of jokes in return, but it was all good natured and pretty much everyone wanted to see him overcome his demons and become successful again.

He was a real part of Getbig and will be missed big time.

He was AWESOME with his photoshops and I remember a bunch of us taking him on in 2006, when the pics of him attending the Mr Olympia were posted. And he started chopping you and Goodrum in a lot of pics. Some of the best, most funniest moments in Getbig history.

I PMed him a couple of times and asked him to come post in the V when I was modding at that time, since he loved trash talking so much. I know I wasn't the only one howling with laughter at some of his posts, which were brutal and hilarious, including the ones in which he flamed me big time.

You could tell everyone wished him well when his pics were posted in 2006, and pretty much every poster who'd flamed him did a 180 and encouraged him to lose the weight. I remember your posts offering to help him with his diet.

I'm glad I came to know him via Getbig. He was a very unique character who will never be replaced.

Unlike most people here I don't bullshit. If I wrote that I spoke to Keith last week then that is what happened. On checking mynetfone it was almost 34 minutes that we spoke on January 4th.

I thought I called him in Las Vegas but the bill says I called Hawaii. Maybe that is why he said he had spent time with his family.

Did he give any indication of something wrong mentally or physically when you spoke to him? I know he was looking forward to getting his boat and sailing around and completing what he called a Bucket List. He seemed like he genuinely had a goal this time.

I read somewhere that he'd died of natural causes. Maybe it was just his time - I think he was only 52.

I honestly have no idea about Keith's mental health. He sounded like his old self and we had a few laughs at Goodrum. He said he hadn't been on the internet for a while which surprised me. I had to tell him stuff and told him to get back on and post. His birthday was Dec 30 so it sounds like he went home for Christmas and New Years and spent time with his kids and grand children. He talked about how well his coffee label was doing and that they had recently changed the label but the demand was good. He also said he sorted the T-shirt deal with Travis by sending him things so Travis could make his own T-shirts with. I was pleased he did that.

I asked him about his health and he sounded well. His leg hadn't given him any trouble for some time. It seemed that every time he got ready to commit to training he would get a setback and end up in hospital. That happened last year when he suffered pneumonia or something.

A couple of years ago I was seriously thinking about bringing him to Australia to help promote my gym. He gave me some good marketing advice. It was around the time I discovered that he was really heavy so didn't think he would suit being in a gym selling memberships.

He was close to Pete Grymkowski and told me stories about how generous Pete was. Well, something happened about a year or so ago and Pete pulled the plug on a lot of people according to Keith. He explained a bit about that. I asked because it is always sad when we part ways with long time friends. Pete is mentioned in several of Keith's stories. He made a lot of money when he sold Golds Gym but then apparently he lost a lot of money. This is what Keith told me. I really have no idea about Mr Grymkowski. I presumed Pete was going to back the Las Vegas supergym that Keith was organizing.

We will have to wait until Stuntmovie posts about Keith to find out more.

Very sad news indeed. Really seemed like a super nice man. My heart goes out to his kids and grandchildren, I know he loved them very much. Like very few here he took the jokes in stride for the most part.

I don't think it would be appropriate for me to do something like that. Keith knew how I felt about him and vice versa and that's the way I intend to leave it. There's no honor in pissing on someone's grave so anyone else who does is truly a piece of shit.

I just opened this thread.....wow..... I enjoyed Keith on the board. I liked giving crap, but it was always done in good humor as I actually really did like him. I think in real life he would have been fun to talk to and hang out with. Hope he is at peace.

Damn, talk about starting your day with a punch to the gut. I always considered Keith the big, good-hearted uncle of the board. He could dish it out but he also took it with good humor. Man, life is so fragile.

I admired Keith and considered him a great person. I liked him. I think like many of us sometimes he let off steam on the boards like we all do calling each other names and stuff. But his stories were great and entertaining. I will surely miss Keith. I envy that he got out of this mess we call our lives today here on Earth.
