Yeah I know that the detail and seperation comes from getting leaner, but muscle density comes from training right? Yes, I am a natty trainer, but the thing is I haven't trained hard and consistanly for years, at least 8 years ago was when I really and truly trained hard and consistantly. And jamie, I think you got it right about getting lean 1st. And Calvin, if I told you my arm routine I'm sure that you wouldn't believe me, but let me give you a hint... It's very low volume coupled with progressive overload.



Change your workout....not saying it's bad but you need to shock your arms....I never do the same arm workout twice.
I'll do the same exercises sometimes but never in the same order.

I'm curious che, when you say "rest" what do you mean actually? For example, only train 3 times a week? Train each body part once a week?

Still think you will reach your goal of 17" at 6%? BTW, what is your time frame for this transformation?

If you get even remotely close to 16" @ 6% that would be absolutely extraordinary.

What's the big secret. If it's low volume it should be easy to write down.

I did arms yesterday.
1. One drop set of barbell curls (4 sets one after another ending with the 30lb bar)
2. One set each of single arm curls on a machine with a decline bench support. Done to failure plus force reps and burns/partials at the end.

Well pellius, I think that I woke up from that dream where I would have 17 inch arms @ 6% natty lol But, in all sincerity I really do think that I can hit 16 inches at 7% My plan is to get lean 1st sub-7 and then gain size while I stay lean. As far as time frame goes, I plan on hitting sub-7 in 4 weeks time. I'm gonna follow a 3 day on/1 day off cal cycle, for 3 days I will eat roughly 1200 cals, and then one the off day I will eat what I want, but not go over 3000 cals. As far as my arm routine is concerned, I do one work set of db overhead tri ext and 1 work set of db concentration curls, and that is my arm routine. P.S. I went for a run today, and fuck me, running kicks ass! I thought that I was something on my stationary bike, but... Well, lets just say that there is no aerobic training that compares to running.

Once a week. For upper body I use the push/pull method. Chest/delts/triceps on Monday, Back/Bis/Rear Delt Weds, Legs Sat.

no no,, like i said if you natural and stay natural,, nothing will happen to you if you trained a few years,, you go up and down BF but no true growth anymore will happen,, strength can go up but no more real growing

there is no idea to think about training so much if you trained many years,, better to maintain good low BF and be happy,, you can look good at 165lbs with low body fat but no use thinking so much,, just diet down and maintain and then get new hobby to remove your mind from bodybuiolding or go to hormones

theres no diet in the world that will give you a ripped body and have a surplus of energy

better to have a surplus of energy at all times and some fat and lift hard or heavy

 if he does this he will only get fat,, he has already trained many years from what ai  remember ,, bulking is only for early training years for naturals,, and even they you gotta be careful so you do not go too much into oink oink mode

it is tough reality for naturals,, many they trick themselves with going up and down in fatness,, but no true growth anymore
