When dieting, do you add fats in your meals?
pb, olive oil, egg yolks, fish oil caps ect...and do you think they aid in fat loss?
I do add an egg or two to my eggwhites,I use olive oil only occasionally,and juat a thin layer of PB on a rice cake or two as a snack if I`m really craving a treat.
I try to avoid calorie dense foods at any cost as my goal is to lose weight/bodyfat to make a weight class.
However,once I`m ripped and ready,I`ll eat more whole eggs,add beef in once or twice a week,and I`ll broil fish in a bit of EVOO.........but only after I`m contest ready.
I got a buddy back in Massachusettes who`s doing the same contest as me (NPC Masters Nats)......he`s eating venison which is great as his main protein source,bagels,whole grain bread,and oatmeal, as his main carb sources,and
12-TBSPS of PB a day,plus doing zero cardio.
IMO,if you feel great while dieting and can eat like he thinks he can eat and get cut like he swears he`s gonna` do,then you ain`t dieting.
When you feel like shit after 16-20 weeks as you should,you more than likely look pretty fucking good.
Instead of burning added fats in my diet as fuel,I`d much rather burn added bodyfat instead.
