The most underrated talent in the history of the industry - the title says it all:http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=417352.0
This is one of my Favs.
Karl, did your dad watch much after the 80's and if so who fid he like out of the "young" guys?
He watched if we made him. I remember him really thinking it was the shits at times with the non wrestling related stuff WWE was doing. " Too much talking." he'd say. He would always give Perfect, Razor, HBK, Goldust and a few others credit for being great workers. His biggest complant though was that none of the heels were working the crowd. (go figure) On a side note look how great Goldust has been since he's come back. He can still go.
Would have LOVED to watch some old NWA footage with your dad. Just had this discussion with OLE BIG the other day about how Flair would hive the fans a little nod as a heel and as soon as they bit he would trash them. Did it in interviews all the time. Problem with later herls is that they liked the positive reaction too much. Hall, Nash, Hogan being prime examples.
