Question about egg whites...is there any truth to this? I was advised once that consuming raw egg white (uncooked) is not as effective as cooked egg white because cooking the egg white breaks it down so it is more easily digestible and usable as protein. Even if that is strictly true is it one of those things where there is only an incremental advantage in having the cooked over the raw?
I only really ask because I would prefer to ingest cooked egg white over raw.
