According to research done at Tabriz University in Iran, fresh onion juice raises testosterone levels as much as substances like nolvadex or clomid."

Well I am now running 600mgs test E per week, take 10mg nolv to prevent gyno, and eat a whole onion a day cut up into my chicken. guess its safe to say i am one high test fucker!  ;D

And raw vegetables also help to clear your liver. I threw a halved onion in the blender, but crap, its juice tastes horrible, lol

so basically saturated fat isn't as bad for health as sugar is

at least that's how i read this very informative post from disgusted

Not going to read it. At this point I would call it an old wives tale. Cholesterol causes plaque saturated fats clogging arteries blah blah. High sugar diets cause inflammation of the endothelial lining of the arteries which in turn cause heart disease. Most doctors who are up on the info will agree. Even the Dr's at Cleveland Clinic will tell you this and they are on of the top heart clinics in the world.

For the past 30 years I have followed and mostly lower carb sugar diet with the occasional binges. When I dieted for my first show I was kind of following the Vince Gironda contest diet principles which happen to be low to zero carb. I ate like this almost always for years. Turns out this just happened to be the way people should be eating to maintain good health. About 5 years ago I had an EBT scan to check the calcium levels in my arteries. I'll be honest that I was a little nervous because of all the hoopla about cholesterol and red meat consumption which through out the years I had plenty of. Anyway, I got my test results back the same day and I scored a zero meaning I had zero plaque build up in all arteries. I have done literally hundreds of hours of research on the subject and for me I have decided to stick with the way I have always eaten.

Comparing fats with sugars make no sense to me.
I believe it's just a matter of selecting good sources for carbs, fats & proteins, no need to make things confusing.

well man, this thing about sugar increasing appetite and satty fats keeping appetite in check is RATHER HUGE thing for dieters and peeps who wanna get ripped

and then adding to it that sugar is much worse for health than satty fats makes it even more important IMO

That's not what I mean, both of them have certain effects on your health/look (2 different things btw), but your body NEED those 3 macros. You should avoid sugar as much as possible, no matter your conditioning, by choosing better carb sources, like brown rice, oats, veggies, etc. Really, it's not that complicated. The only hard part is the consistency of your diet.

A man after my own heart!!!

Lean hamburger patties are a great food for dieting.

One meal I have at the weekend to keep me sane is 3 huge patties, with a fried egg and slices of mature cheddar and onion on top. Almost zero carbs but tastes like I shouldn't be eating it  ;D ;D ;D

Always LOVED tiramisu - especially when it's made with some real italian espresso.

I took my wife to Venice for a weekend/anniversary thing, and booked the best restaurant there 'alle tesstiere' or something like that. I ordered tiramisu, and also 'chocolate and liquorice ice cream' from the desert menu....the tiramisu came in a huge bowl and it was as close to heaven as i've been in my life  8)

I almost fell in a canal looking at some of those italian stallions (no tbombz).

Hahaha I forgot to say, on the same trip I was walking around the tiny streets line with all the boutiques Chanel/Prada etc, and everytime I saw a guy wearing bright coloured eurostyle trainers I thought 'dj181 would love a pair of these' hahaha no joko
