Whats in the rice?

havent been taking as many pictures lately, but yesterday i had dinner with my family:

prime rib; green bean and snow pea with roasted red onion vinaigrette; feta, pear, cranberry and spinach salad; quest protein powder shake (1 scoop protein, 1 tbsp natural peanut butter, half a banana, milk) -- pretty delicious!

made some scones so far, today.

Some expensive coffee, but I assume you eat & drink for free on that cruise?
You're using the Magic bullet? I bought one recently but it wasn't capable to chop soft cooked rice & chicken (carb loading before a show). I've heard better experiences with the Nutri bullet.

yeah unlimited food here free of charge, but I dont like our ships coffee(Lavazza) so I buy some items from whole foods on Maui.  The magic bullet is ok..it was cheap like 20 bucks I think. You blend rice?

That's pretty cheap indeed, I paid about 50 Euros. The added manual/cook book has a section for baby foods, and chicken & rice was one of the examples.
I did 5 depleting days, so I thought it would be best to ate my carbs like a baby to avoid stomach problems during the loading phase. My Bullet wasn't capable to do the job and I had no time to buy another model (poor planning, I know). As a result I had some minor stomach problems during my contest. I will try cream of rice next time.

sous vide kobe new york (I think?) steaks

went a bit overboard while finishing, and they weren't very good for some reason.  had a bit of an off taste...

some recent beef with broccoli as well (much tastier)
