A couple of my wifes relatives live for FB..........in real life,they have no friends at all,and no life at all. 

At home they are in their comfort zone. Nobody can really hurt them, but in case that happens, there's always a delete/block/unfriend button.
They like the attention, but not too personal. It's all about risk control, they are afraid that someone might hurt their feelings -again-. Most of those women have a lack of self respect and confidence.
Well, this is my observation of screen addicted women.

believe it or not, I have had a quite a fantastic social life over the years. That + 4 year major university + getting on facebook as soon as it came out = lots of acquaintances over the years

Yes, perhaps facebook was one of the unnecessary knowledge tree creations. Just like when adam and eve came awere about everything allready there, they put this curtain of illusions infront of everything thus becoming more stressed and embarrassed.

all kinds of degrees and majors were invented, all useless, curiculums were invented that taught kids how to express opinions as if kids should have opinions

the music industry started writing songs that sold people the idea of being a superstar, that everyone is a superstar, that you shoudl talk shit too, talking shit is all anyone wants to do

it's ok to be arrogant now, not just arrogant in an indearing way, but arrogant in the way that people don't know their place anymore, that everyone should be an alpha male or something

there's no more geniuses in music because colleges have broken down music theory and taught everyone how ot write songs, there's no more humility in art, everyone thinsk they're in a posiiton to criticize things, everyone thinks they should have something to say about everything

it's a type of delusion, and a delusion that causes anxeity because having high status = anxiety to the organism, if the organism thinks it has power then it must protect it, now people have anxiety attacks and paranoia because of this, but that's ok because psychiatry was invented and you can go to your doctor to get pills that will calm you down
