 DK is right. Adonis is a fucking moron. Calories are the only thing that matters if we are talking about gene repair activation, in which case the lower the calories the more telomere regeneration occurs.

  At the exact same number of calories, two different diets will produce completely different markers of body inflammation, markers of oxidative stress, plasma apo-lipoprotein profiles and amounts of urea, uric acid and ammonia which indicates body alkalinity/acidity, liver enzyme activity and levels of creatinine which indicates liver and kidney health.

  Not really. It is pretty easy to deduce that boiled skinless chicken breasts with brown rice and broccoli is better for you when calories are equal than hamburgers, French fries and pizza. Less saturated fats and Sodium, more anti-inflammatory phytochemicals and fiber, etc. There isn't a single physiologist or biochemist in the World who would agree with you that your choice of foods are as good as those of traditionally clean diets even if you adjust for calories. If you want, I can provide you with plenty of evidence of the effects on Human physiology of different fatty acids, amino acids, carbohydrates, etc.

  Now, for extreme health improvements and life extension, then yes, calories are all that matters. If you eat only 500 calories a day of hamburgers, you will have better health and live longer than someone who eats 3,000 calories a day of skinless chicken breast, brown rice and broccoli. When calories drop below 1,000 a day, gene and cellular repair are activated to an astonishing degree and what you eat becomes meaningless.

better in what sense, SMM? what appreciable difference will someone have by eating nothing but the most bland and "healthy" food all their life as opposed to occasionally eating a hamburger? besides being miserable, of course.

  Only in terms of health, of course. I agree that life is short and there is nothing wrong with eating a hamburger a few times a month. In moderation, this will not harm your health. Except of course if you eat burgers with buns that have partially hydrogenated fats in them. In this case, every time you eat you will be doing significant damage to your cardiovascular system. Saturated fat and sugar are not harmful as long as you don't make them a regular part of your diet.

Can you make me a detailed comparison between Beef Bourguignon and your boiled Chicken Breast meal.  I have 100 percent confidence that 500 calories of Beef Bourguignon is better than your boiled nonsense nutrition wise and obviously taste wise.  Here is the ingredient list for Beef Bourguignon.

No supplements
I consumed the same amount of calories
I went from 6 meals a day to 3 meals a day.
Protein from 180gr to 100gr .
Replaced  sweet potatoes,oatmeal, brown rice, pasta......etc.   for ice cream ,doughnuts ,chocolate....etc.
I lost muscle and gained fat
I went from a solid 173lbs  to skinny fat  175lbs.

I forgot how important nutrition is in natural '' bodybuilding''

i remember the days of eating protien along side of low calories. id always be wathing that lower ab area fluctuate. if i went to a club and partied my ass off doing alot of dancing and not drinking too much beer id lose that lower ab chunkyness
