A gallon of milk a day and enough dbol to kill a horse could have most people putting up some big numbers, but Casey was genetically super gifted for strength as well as being an oral and bacon loaded bloat-pig
He had a wide waist and a barrel chest. He was a big dude---meant to put up big numbers...his physique reminds me of a smaller Andre the Giant, but with a bigger chest.

dear retarded "bodybuilder lex reeves"....

i dont give the slightest shit about what i bench, i train for a lean and muscular physique, not to be an obese looking guy who can claim some meaningless bench number.

now what makes you think id care what this enourmously out of shape person lifts?

he looks like someone shat 300lbs of diarhhea into a condom

And so do many of today's top bodybuilders.   Just more muscular poo filled condoms.  Call them "pleasure ribs" or "sensi-dots" comdoms if it makes you feel any better, brother.   ;D

But yeah, I agree with you. I would rather be more muscular but Pat Casey is one of the all time greats of the iron game.

Its true, most of us could look that fat and gain strength every workout by eating like a fat man but thats not exactly why most people lift! Yes its good to soothe the ego by heavy benching at times but most people lift to look better , not to be a fat guy who is super strong! Props to this guys strength but it really means nothing in life how strong you are! It wont make you a great fighter, wont make you get women, and it sure wont win you a bodybuilding contest....
So you're saying you "soothe the ego by heavy benching" 600 lbs. raw "at times"?

I'm sure my obese nephew could put up some insane numbers as well. Let alone if he actually trained for some time. How much did Fat Casey weigh? Lifting heavy things becomes a lot easier if you weigh as much as you lift.

Bit over 6' and was #320 - 340 when he was putting up low #600's, but he had large lifts when he was in the low #200's also.

Pat Casey. Now there's a man who had no intention of selling his asshole for a plastic BBing trophy.

Benched 425 @ 215, age 17. First to bench 500. First to bench 600. First to squat 800. First to total 2000. Better recognize!

D-Bol gives strength and size like galeniko said.
Look at the bloat.

Unless the guy in the black and white "before" pictures was once 500 pounds and lost a shitload of weight, those stretch marks across the chest tell the story of hormone usage.

Steroids do waaay less for strength than they do for muscle hypertrophy...

You're a funny guy.

So putting one hundred or more pounds on one of the major lifts within several months isn't too dramatic, right?

Also, Casey was using, 100 percent. Not that this is some big deal.

Fact is, he pressed a poundage many decades ago that still only a handful of folks today can do. I have no doubt he didn't pause the rep and I have little doubt he did, in fact, have an arch of some sort, as this is only prudent and wise (arching the back is paramount to maintain shoulder integrity and properly mechanically "set" the upper body, after all), but still, what a number.

Oh, one other thing. Physical strength and durability is, in a natural world, a more valuable commodity than is a ripped and sinewy body.

Hope this helps.

True, but it will greatly advantage a person attempting to defend himself.

Some people think just because a pic is black & white, its pre-steroids, and everyone had morals, there was no crime, it was a perfect world with the birds chirping and flowers blossoming. Like every other Ironage forum member

Reeves himself mentioned in an interview regarding guys in his gym as a kid asking if he juiced. Reeves, Park, Grimek, yes, all the holier than thou names used

When did Reeves say he juiced? I have never heard that. He was built pre World War II when he was 16 years old. During the war he kept a 110 pound barbell with him  that he used to rep out with when he was stationed in the Pacific during world war II and he was built. The first anabolic steriod was made was in the late 1950's. The only thing they had back then was straight test and I have never read anywhere that any lifter was using it for building muscle prior to the 60's. The first written case for straight testosterone for sports were the Russian olympic lifters in the late 50's and early 60's. Show me anything written in the 40's of bodybuilders using drugs. There isn't any.
