I made mine the old fashion way... I killed a monster...  ;D

It's a 10 pounder in case you're wondering... only got through half of it for breakfast...

The T&T Supermarket up the street $4.99/lb (love Chinese prices)

definitely a 'handle with care' treat

I love fresh seafood. I also love the water.
I'm strongly considering moving to a coastal state for those reasons alone.

Hey, Tony:
You've lived in at least 75 different locales. Got any recommendations?
 ;D

LOO iono about 75 but well travelled I guess...I always do try to sample the local cuisine.

I guess its b/c I have grown up in Houston AKA "the home of the taco truck" but I always try to hit up a hole in the wall place where ever I go. Most of the time I will find a bad ace place, sometimes you strike out and get shit...literally.

I can recomment places to most of the places ive been most recently Brazil, Rio and Sao Paulo...

hahah I really dont think that lobster would have any problem with those rubber bands at all.

How much meat did you get out of the claws?

Ive only had lobster a handful of times but we eat crawfish down here all the time and we eat the meat from the claws on the bigger ones. I can only imagine the amount of meat that came out of those big ass claws.

Are taco trucks a southern thing?
I live North of the Mason Dixon, and this is the first I've heard of them.

LOL must be down here in Houston you cant go more than mile in any area with construction without finding one.

They are like ice cream trucks that drive around and serve tacos, fajitas, tamales, beans and rice etc...

you can be assured that if youre around an are where construction is occuring, or a home improvement store that during breakfast or lunch time that no less than 3 will pull up and try to sell their shit.

Most serve pretty good shit actually, the really good ones end up setting up permenant brick and mortar locations which would still be considered hole in the walls...thats when you know that shit is good.

Seriously the place I used to go growing up had a fat, balding mexican dude making the tacos. It was always like 90 degrees in there b/c the didnt have A/C. The guys always had a wife beater on that didnt cover his gut, he was always sweating profusely(I mean like this shit wasnt normal) and never wore any gloves.

He would always ask if you wanted cheese, and of course YOU ALWAYS WANTED CHEESE ON YOUR BREAKFAST TACO so you would say yes and then he would reach into this big bag of cheese with his sweaty, no glove having ass and grab a big handful and put it on your taco.

It is still the best taco I have found to date, even though he has lost a lot weight...

Ha-ha...
He sounds like the type that doesn't wash his hands after using the bathroom, either.
Maybe that's his "secret" behind the great taste!

LOL if you ever used their bathroom you wouldnt want to touch those nasty ass knobs either.

I always said the secret to the taste was the salt from his sweat...
