Uh, do you realize that Monsanto Spends Billions to research these seeds and therefore should have a copy right of intellectual property to them. These farmers are not allowed to horde it and use it since its not their property or right to do so.  Patents are the incredibly important to American Law and Capitalism.  I guess you aren`t a fan of Capitalism and intellectual property rights then?

Don't misunderstand my statements.

I did not say that he is a great or even good mayor. Based on the selection that we had, he was the best option.

While I think he is the best we have to work with now, there are many things he does that I don't agree with.

Also, if you somehow think that we aren't already living in a fascist state, wake up and smell the coffee.

Corporations run this country. The senate is chosen from amongst the people to speak for the people, but instead of representatives that are willing to fight for the betterment of society, we have figureheads in Washington. Representatives that are sleeping with the lobbyists and only fighting for the rights and privileges of the corporations, the same corporations that keep them living the lavish lifestyle they have grown accustomed to, while guaranteeing permanent work within Washington (see the commonly used "Washington's revolving door" term".

We are in essence a fascist country parading around as capitalistic, but truthfully have socialism catering to the super rich or poor, while the middle class is subjected to the most brutal form of capitalism possible...

Property and intellectual rights are great and Montsanto should be proud of their accomplishments.  In fact, they should proudly display them on every product they sell to the market so the consumer understands what they're buying.  Advertising the superiority of their product in the marketplace is a fundamental of capitalism.  If these humans are frightened away from buying by GMO labeled food...well to bad for those humans.  Monsanto should realize it may be too advanced for the planet at this time and look for their reward in heaven.

You're absulutly right as usual TA, we're probably in agreement overall.  Lots of times though, these are merely neighboring farmers whose fields were unknowingly pollinated by Monsanto crop.
