
Great comparisons, everyone.
For arguments sake, let's say Arnold's upper legs were a little smaller than Mentzer, Dickerson, Coe and perhaps a little less hard (on the day of the contest) than Zane. If we want to say that, we can also say that Arnold's upper body was better than Mentzer, Dickerson, Coe and Zane, by around the same margin that his upper legs may have been worse.
If that's the case, we still come to the conclusion that he was as good - at the very least - as any of the top five. There can't be five equal winners, though. Something has to separate Arnold from the rest. In my opinion, that is his presentation and winning more poses than he loses, based on the many different muscles of the upper body than the lower. Just an opinion, though.
This contest is controversial for different reasons but a large part is because of how close it was. The photos and video speak for themselves. I don't know what Boyer Coe was watching but from everything that's been posted here in all of these pages, Arnold is just as good as anyone there.
