Yes. This is true. But, there is a trade off for that hard work. Less vacation time, meals out, etc, but you usually have a big house and are more monetarily sound.

In South Korea they have 2 days (yes 2) annual leave, with bosses approval only  :P
Emigrating to the US or Australia is like visiting Disneyland for 3 yo !
Boy's if U a after fresh Asian pussy, Koreans dating websites is place for it,
just promise her 4 weeks of annual leave  ;D

serious question to middle aged getbiggers:
As i am getting older (35 now) it is harder and harder to not think and worry about future all the time - where i am going, am i at the right place, will i ever do a job i enjoy, what if i get fired, should i save more money etc-etc. I cant really enjoy a movie or a book anymore, i mean i cant forget the outside world during these, even if its the best movie or book ever. The same in teh gym: sitting between sets and thinking about things to do. Any ideas?

this sounds like the start of a great novel keep going brother!

Good point, i think the US drives people to work their life away and sucks you into a very face paced stressful life.

8)

The US drives the 99% to work their arses off to pay the 1% massive income. To think differently means you are not a true American.  Land of the free?  Land of the brainwashed muppets more like. Everywhere else in the civilised world everyone can live without worry about medicine, pensions etc as they get older.

the old 'one percent target' of hatred is completely misguided. so long as USA spends tax money on useless earmarks and senators and presidential holidays and HUGE military there will be no early retirement for its citizens. How about we call it the political one percent that determine where citizens money goes as the proper target of ire.

another problem is slackers milking the system of which there are plenty in Europe. once the slackers feel entitled to their benefits, there is no going back. Under the guise, life is to be enjoyed, lol lets have 10 kids and free healthcare because we have a right to enjoy life... it only takes one fly to spoil the soup.

HUman rights is a right to clean water and outdoor oxygen full stop. not the right to free dental 8 weeks holiday 3 years paid maternity leave with job being held vacant till return etc etc.

The worst that will happen is you'll have to go to work for 8 hours a day for the rest of your life.  It's a first world problem.

Yes, you should find a way to switch off if you're a miserable bastard.  Somewhere you cancel shitty thoughts for awhile.  The gym.
