That front double bi in the Haney vid after the music change is one of the best routine spots I've seen. So cool.

But, I think Yates would have beaten Haney the following year, and I feel that Yates had to fight Taylor/Levrone/Sonbaty/Wheeler whereas Haney had Gaspari/Christian/Labrada, etc.....

Quite a difference. Haney was great in his era, but Yates was unreal.

Haney won a record breaking 8 Mr. Os was considered best all time and retired. He wasn't afraid of a guy with ZERO titles at the time. Nice try though.

I agree NOT Haney's fault Dorian wasn't at his best yet. However Yates in his third pro contest ever in his first Olympia EVER beat Haney in the muscularity round , mind you Haney was his best EVER and got beaten in this round by Yates who was 10lbs lighter

He eluded he might be back , he never did Dorian is most certainly part of the reason no matter what you like to think. A man with zero titles and only three pro contests ever who just beat him in the muscularity round while he was at his all-time best lol Haney was scared.

He was no Haney he faced much harder competition

Haney had no one who could really compete with him on size Dorian could and had better conditioning. Ronnie was a freak but that doesn't say much like Haney his competition wasn't that great either. Ronnie competed with Yates and where was he?

Only in reality is Dorian better , keep clinging to your Olympia titles as the sole benchmark for them being better , Haney only had 1 against Dorian and Ronnie had 0 against him. Haney got out when the getting was good

Dorian did call out Haney in 1993 in Atlanta his home ground Haney wanted NO part of Yates we both know what would have happened if Haney did compete he would be third behind Flex

Forget Sandows , Haney at his best and Ronnie at his couldn't touch Dorian , in fact NO ONE could , Dorian lost twice that's the lowest he ever placed too the guy was a winning machine.
