There is nothing Called natural BBing … there is tested and untested shows … skip does tested shows, which doesn’t mean he doesn’t use drugs … it means he is clean (urine sample) on the day of the test
Indeed. There's a real naivety about 'natural' bodybuilding, much like there was about ALL pro bodybuilding back in the 1970s-1980s, and much like there used to be about the entire field in the finals of the 100m sprint at the Olympics. Some people, even to this day, think that only 'one or two' of the athletes therein are using performance-enhancing drugs (usually the winners) and everyone else is natural (hence, why they lost).
As said above, the only real fact is that they passed the urine tests. That's about it. So do the vast majority of track athletes, with only a few of the desperate/greedy/stupid ones getting caught (i.e., Ben Johnson, Chambers, Montgomery). Michael Johnson never got caught, but that doesn't make him clean. He was just X per cent smarter than the others. Same goes for Lance Armstrong. You really think a natural guy was beating the doped-up Jan Ullrich!?
If you think back to the mid-to-late 1980s when FLEX was absolutely the bible, anyone who read the magazine who really wasn't on the pulse (i.e., no internet, no mass sharing of controlled information) and didn't actually compete themselves (or take BB to a very high level) had little to no idea all the pros were heavy users. It wasn't mentioned, wasn't discussed, and because FLEX et al said so (and still does), it was assumed they were natural. It seems unbelievably daft and naive now, doesn't it? Because it was, and you can re-apply that blind-sided logic and way of thinking to today's naturals.
The thing that really bugs me about La Cour's web site, and I think this was also mentioned above, is it looks and reads like a scam site. Like a porno site, where it's just endlessly plugging you to buy things and click on this and then buy that etc etc. I realise the guy has to make a living, but if he was genuinely natural and genuinely this God of that world, he could and should be cleaning up. The fact he has to resort to endlessly peddling inferior products amongst the token and throwaway 'tips' on his site leads me to believe he's a bit of a charlatan.
He may well show up as 'natural' on a urine test, and he may well be 'natural' this second, or for X months of the year, but does that mean he was and is
always natural? Does it f**k.
