The oldest fossils in the world are found in East Africa, mainly Ethiopia, which suggests that the human race began there. According to many evolution theories, as the human community grew, some migrated to other regions in Africa, to Asia and to Europe. The physical characteristics of these races are a result of mutations and climate adaption after migration. An example is white skin which was a mutation that aided the humans living in colder regions, so that their skin could absorb more vitamin D into their bodies from the sun.

Essentially at some point in the history of man, we were all African.

The two black families in my neighbor hood are real successes in life. One's daughter became a Manhattan cardiologist. When I went to her graduation from Medical school that was Princeton pre med and Columbia med I thought I was in the Cosby show. My wife and I were the only white people there in the huge party. Well, I'm a white hispanic and my wife is a very white blonde.  I have never seen so many blacks dressed in such expensive and classy clothes in my life. Talking to various people were doctors, engineers and other high achievers. I asked for a beer and they said they were only serving wine.  When I grew up in the city I never knew such high society minorities.

If you look at this list, one of the nation's poorest cities is non partisan....therefore it is difficult to know if it run by Democrats or Republicans. San Francisco, one of the wealthiest cities is partisan. San Francisco became one of the centers of liberal activism, with Democrats, Greens, and progressives dominating city politics.

In the California State Senate, San Francisco is in the 11th Senate District, represented by Democrat Mark Leno. In the California State Assembly, it is split between the 17th Assembly District, represented by Democrat David Chiu, and the 19th Assembly District, represented by Democrat Phil Ting.

In the United States House of Representatives, San Francisco is split between California's 12th and 14th districts, represented by Nancy Pelosi (D–San Francisco) and Jackie Speier (D–Hillsborough), respectively.

Yes Prime, California is the home of fruit and nuts regarding their progressive left politics. Let's talk Detroit, Chicago, Camden and Newark. That's four high crime cities that are near the top of statistics. Decades of Democratic rule.

You got me. Do you think a Republican mayor could fix things in these cities? In the cities with non-partisan leadership, I suspect most folks don't even know if they are voting for a registered Democrat or a Republican.

Yes San Francisco may be home to fruitcakes and liberals. That wasn't the discussion. The point I was making is that nothing is absolute. Obviously, Democratic leadership also exists in financially secure cities.

As you may know, I live in a suburb just outside of Portland, OR.  Charlie Hales, Portland's current mayor is a Democrat. Interestingly enough so was his opponent in the 2012 election. Since Portland's government is non-partisan, most people don't consider the party the candidates are affiliated with. All in all Portland is financially sound.

Maybe Republicans can't be bothered with local government. After all, these jobs usually don't pay very well. Bill de Blasio is a liberal democrat best known for being elected mayor of New York City in 2013. Los Angeles has predominately had Democratic Mayors.

Unfortunately that's not a majority.

If all of the blacks acted that way, like those in your story, there would be less complaints.

Instead, we have got alot of criminals, rap, twerking, overconsumtion of KFC and watermelon and alot of people raped, bikes stolen, people assaulted, killed and alot of neighborhoods (or hoods as they call it) losing value and/or even destroyed.

Isolated means living in the last bastions of white tax payers without really understanding what their idealistic vote has done to the rest of the country.

My city taxes are the highest in CA and the city is a shithole that uses those tax dollars to build endless subsidized houses for brews and illegals to live in and pays them to have endless broods of low IQ chillens. That's the end result of progressive policies

Where the least capable to lead is elected by the majority of the least capable of producing . Where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminished number of actual producers.

Next up they vote in "Affirmative action" or "equity" policies which will be put in place in favour of this political majority of non-producers. This political majority will require affirmative action to protect themselves against a 10% minority group will be testament to a complete failure on their part to build their own wealth structures...such that their ONLY solution in their minds is to take from others.
