You really think so??   :D. I just think I look the same but with a straighter nose.  When I had repetitive infections I got very tired and my hair suffered and I didn't look my bubbly self. I looked like crap actually. Now I am just back to my normal self. Hey I just found out that Aaron Singerman, PJ and Dave Palumbo were in my home town doing a seminar and I missed them. I was going to pop into the gym and surprise them but they were at the airport boarding to Brisbane.

Today was my Back ..
warm up jump rope with sit ups 3x20-30 superset with hanging leg raises 3x20-30

sternum chin ups 5xmax
Barbell Rows 5x10
Deadlifts 5x10
DB shrugs 3x15

I decided to do straight sets today with a few very powerful exercises and higher sets. On the shrugs i had to use straps. The workout hitting  traps to the erectors.

Karen,

My wife, who was looking over my shoulder as I read you recent post, said, "Is that your babe?" I replied, "Of course! But, she lives thousands of miles away." I went on to explain why you were posting that photo and all about your nose surgery. We both agree that it looks really great. In fact, I think I am a little jealous since when I had rhinoplasty 40 years ago, the surgeon wasn't able to reduce my fat nose much. Of course, I would look ridiculous with a tiny nose like yours.

Sorry to read about all the problems you are having with your laptop. I guess I am really lucky in that I have not had issues with my computer equipment since I bought it with the exception of some software conflicts which I have been able to rectify myself at home without the help and expense of a computer technician. One thing I agree with is that you don't ever want more than one virus protection program running on your computer because it will result is conflicts and often eats up a lot of memory and really slows things down. Often times, if you download programs from the Internet, even very legitimate ones, they come packaged with virus protection. McAfee is one I often see bundled along with browser upgrades and installs. I run Norton 360 on my systems. It is supply free by my provider. Every so often I will notice a McAfee icon in the program list. Whenever that happens, I uninstall it immediately.

If you have a start-up or boot disk for your system and you can save all your personal files to a thumb drive or some other backup, (not on your computer) plus you have install disks for any programs you wish to keep, sometimes the best thing to do is to clean everything off your hard drive and re-install the operating system from scratch. If you have never done this before and if you don't feel really computer savvy, I recommend you have a friend who knows about computers help you with this. The first time I did this it was with an old computer I was getting rid of anyway. I didn't want to donate it with any of my information readily available, so I reformatted the hard drive and reinstalled the operating system. It worked like a charm. I ended up putting it away in the attic because I though my grandson would use it. It is still up there. I should haul it out and donate it as originally planned.

That's the anti virus I had on there..... McAfee. Had a phone call today from the company that has my pc and they are sending it back today so I should have it sometime this week.... Yay!!!  :) they didn't charge me anything to remove the conflicting anti virus prog. I was told they did a recovery too. And so they shouldn't bill me. Anyway in regards to my nose it's probably been bigger then what it was prior to the surgery because I have had swelling. My tip wasn't changed, just the septum straightened. The surgeon said he wouldn't make my nose smaller as it wouldn't suit me. I didn't want a tiny little Michael Jackson nose either.  :D  it's funny cause a friend messaged me on Facebook and said my nose looked bigger and was it healing okay. That's what swelling does, enlarge something duh. Anyway I am sorry that you had your surgery performed 40 Years ago Prime. You might have got what you wanted had you got it done a few years later. Am update on the weather, it's sunny today. After almost 6 weeks of rain and terrible strong winds I think it has gone away. We have had cyclones out at sea forming which explains the bad weather. I am going to see KISS this weekened, am really looking forward to it.

All virus programs slow down your computer, especially when browsing the internet. Some are worst then others, I've heard McAfee is one that slows things more then some other programs. Most folks favor one virus program over others. I use Norton 360 because it is free from my internet service provider. Norton 360 includes several computer maintenance tool which work well. However, I am not trying to sell you on one program or another. It is really just a matter of choice and trial and error. Mainly, don't try to run more than one anti-virus on your computer at the same time.

The flesh on my nose is thick. It has always been thick, even when I was a kid. Although I suspect plastic surgery and rhinoplasty has improved overtime, my doctor at that time told me that there was nothing he could do to make my nose narrower. Anyway, my nose works fine and changing it no longer interests me. I have grown into it, I think. Plus it is me. I don't care to look like everyone else or some mature Ken doll.

The weather in the Pacific Northwest is nothing like your weather. Very little drama here apart from the rare wind or ice storm. Mostly, it just rains often. The overall rainfall measured in inches isn't excessive. This week has been cloudy with very little rain and warmer, almost 60 degrees. It is just warm enough that all the perennials and bulbs are popping up and the deciduous plants are budding out. Another few weeks like this and we will be full on into spring.

I got a really bad virus last year and it was nasty because it was a virus that got into your pc before your Anti virus could detect it. I use Avira Free Anti virus and it has always been good . I took my pc to a guy here who calls himself the pc doc...lol. He looked liked a beer belied rocker and at first i thought does this guy know? He was great.. sorted my pc out in a Day and updated my pc. He said the virus i got was hitting a lot of people and it was not my Anti virus programme failing. Guy never charged much (i phoned up some so called pc technicians who wanted lots of money) i was lucky to find the pc Doc in the internet using my sons pc, the guy just works from home. look around and there is always guys like this doing it on the side..

Primemuscle, seeing as how the Mature Tread seems to be all things to all people;

Weather...it's going to be 79 degrees, and very dry, in Escondido,CA today. Going up to Paloma Valley later, about 40 miles north, where it will be 89 degrees. (Steve Reeves had a horse ranch in Escondido, before he died)   Next week we could have flash floods, with extreme rain...just the way SoCal is.

Anti-Virus...most people keep the anti-virus program they got with a new computer. May or may not be a good idea. Might want to go to 'C-net.com' for a quick review of the many very good free virus programs out there. And most all are free. Or write 'anti-virus reviews' in a general search box. I have Avast but have used AVG before. Norton and McAfee seems not to have kept up with the times, for what they charge. MicroSoft's Security Essentials (a free program) has one of the more poorer rating of all the anti-virus programs. E-set and Kaspersky are very, very good but are not free.

People forget that they may need a malware program, as well as a anti-virus program (if not included in that program). Might suggest Malwarebytes as a top program. It has a basic free program or an up graded version. Don't let the term free fool you, some very outstanding anti-virus and malware programs out there...at no cost. Glary Utilities (free) is a exceptional cleaner for any PC....well worth the download.

Just to note: people with Apple computers (any version) will still need some sort of virus or malware program. Apple is never fail safe. Most hacker hate Bill Gates with a passion...so the attack is always on against Apple and getting stronger recently.

Trained shoulders today:
Warm up was 10 minutes jumping rope and Dumbbell swing throughs 1x30

Giant set :
Front DB raises 3x10
Side raises 3x10
Bent over laterals 3x10
Seated DB press 3x10

now a lot of people will do the pressing movement first but doing it in this order really pre fatigues my shoulders and really allows me to work hard, working my delts all round. 12 hard burning sets and the rope jumping and dB swing throughs with a light weight warm the shoulders nice.

If anyone uses more than one anti-virus running program on their computer, there may be a developing program with each program conflicting with one another. Giving false positives, slowing down and generally having the computer not performing at it's full potential. One anti-virus, a good one, is all anyone needs.

delts are tricky ur either strong or need reps/pump to get them going i'm the latter and do presses at end too and get great pump and i am as trong doing them last then the usual'i'm stronger in beginning so lets press'i think that theory changes person to person.

so later i will go for a 45 minute run at a good clip. The real sickening thing about the route i will do is the hills on the way back but this is when it gets intresting and my mind takes over. I detach my mind from my physical pain and i am in a state of zen. I canīt explain this but it is so.

Old man here checking in.

I am back doing the core body stretches and weight free movements that my physical therapist prescribed a year or so ago to elevate the discomfort from sciatica as sugested by my doctor at my last visit. So far, I have had some relief, but the pain is still ever present. Maybe I am a bit impatient for a complete cure.

Good to see that you are doing something Prime. Stick with it, sometimes it takes a while before you see results or feel as though you are making progress.

What a day! What a day!

Two weeks ago, I took my lawnmower in for spring servicing. When I picked it up they told me that it had run out of oil and this caused the engine to seize up. They were able to get it running but could not guarantee how long the engine might last. Had they called me before fixing it, I would have scrapped the mower because it was nearly 20 years old. Anyway, I paid the $110 repair bill and brought it home. Mowed the back yard and a few days later mowed the front when it conked out. The way it sounded when it died, I just knew it was gone for good.

Today I went shopping for a new lawnmower. After checking out mowers at all the big box stores, I ended up back at the mower shop that repaired my old mower. Interestingly, this was the first place where someone actually approached me to sell me a mower. While the clerk was explaining the advantages of different models, I mentioned the recent repair and the results. He looked up my invoice and offered me $50 for my dead mower off the price of a new one. I decided to go for it. The only problem being I didn't have the old mower with me so I had to go home and get it.

My ride is a station wagon. If I drop the handle the mower fits in the back of the wagon. This is how I hauled it to the shop and back each year when I would get it tuned up. So I loaded the mower in the back and took off for the lawnmower store. As I drove down the hill, I realized I'd forgotten to but the bag in, so I cut through the driveway of some town homes at the bottom of my hill to head back home to get the bag. Although I was driving slow, when I hit the speed bump, the lawnmower handle crashed against the tailgate glass and it shattered to smithereens. Shit! So, what else was there to do but drive on over to the lawnmower shop an complete my purchase.

I spent about an hour on the phone with the company who will be replacing the glass this Saturday. Apparently they were having phone issues and the call kept getting dropped. It took 4 tries to complete the transaction. Who knew I was so patient? My insurance will cover all but $100 of the cost. Nice, now my new mower just got a little bit more expensive. Like I said, what a day!
