This is an exercise i have never really wanted to try.. the wrestlers bridge. i have always thought it too dangerous... my neck is ok with Deadlifts and DB shrugs and general training...
My neck measures 17.5". There is no fat on my neck at all; not the slightest sign of a double chin either. I have no idea how it got so big. I only occasionally do some Nautilus neck exercises. Frankly, I wish it weren't so big. I am not ready to have custom made dress shirts. Can you even begin to imagine how hard it is to find dress shirts with a 36-36" sleeve and a 17.5" neck that don't end up looking like tents? I think my neck measurement should be at least somewhat proportionate to my upper arm measurement. Perhaps this means I need to get those guns up another 1.5".
I have no idea if this deformity affects neck size, but I mentioned that I suffer from "forward head" posture. I think it is because when I was a kid I was the tallest in my class and so I stooped or looked down on my classmates. It also may have something to do with the fact that I wasn't all puffed up like some young guys with an overblown ego. Whatever the cause, in my old age I look like I have dowager's hump. It is disgusting and believe me I would fix it if I knew how.
Anyway for the moment, I am going to forgo wrestler's bridge exercises, at least until my arms catch up with my neck size. I am already freaky enough looking!
