when ur ready  ;)...actually playing with u,as u can see on a few threads here people take it a bit too serious.i post lots of pics but never to defend,offend,challenge or insult someone.

I thought I was addicted to Getbig before. Now I am spending way too much time posting here. I just hope I don't screw up and post something that starts a shit storm.

I used to take this place too seriously. I think I've gained thicker skin and learned to roll with the punches by now. This period of over exposure will be the real test.

Here's a weird thing. My knee feels so good since the surgery it is really hard to remember to stay off it and this is only day three. I hope I can do this for 30 days. I want this knee as good as new.

u'll be great again,glad to see ur pushing the healing process my man...i did 1 legged extensions on last leg workout i enjoyed them ...

If I were in your shoes, this is not where I would go for advice on this. You need a professional opinion and by that I mean your doctor.

It sure seems possible that the breast plate would fuse together again after some time. It might even be stronger than it was before the surgery, I don't know and neither does anyone else here probably. Once you have your doctor's consent, you will know you are good to go and that should be a comfort to you.

Obviously, exercise is good for the heart as long as your heart isn't overtaxed by it.

Thanks.  Good advice.  I do plan to ask my doctor.  I also wanted to hear about anyone who might be in the same situation.

I had coronary artery bypass surgery ten years ago, the kind where they split your breastbone to get at your heart, and then wire the bones together when they're done.  The bones are supposed to fuse after some time.

Does anyone here have information/experiences about this situation that can be shared on this thread, concerning exercises like bench presses, dips, and push-ups?  Is the healed breastbone strong enough?

Yeah. Ask your doctor. Although you can be sure he will err on the side of caution, but at least consult him before you give yourself a heart attack or blow out your ribcage. :D

My surgeon called me this morning to see how my knee was doing. I told him that I had no pain and the knee felt great. I also mentioned how difficult it is to remember to not bear any weight on that leg. He said that as long as I was on level ground (like around the inside of the house) I could bear weight on it.

Apparently, the delaminated cartilage was smaller then a dime in size and it was located deep in the horn. The area sure looked bigger in the video. Anyway, this is not an area affected much by normal walking. I am still using the crutches though and sitting around with my leg elevated as much as possible. I might as well take advantage of my daughter being here to help us. I don't want her to feel like she wasted a trip home.

I am wondering if TRT affects healing in a positive way. Testosterone is responsible for improved bone strength. Maybe it also helps new tissue grow, like what is supposed to be happening deep inside my knee.

Typical of me, I've lost weight. I was 197 lbs. this morning. I don't get hungry when I don't exert myself. If this keeps up for a month, I'll look like Galeinko with 0% body fat.
