I like running around the streets in winter. when it gets bad weather i will do my cardio in the gym. I do try to stay outside though..even in snow. hard to believe now just a few weeks ago it was quite warm. Still i got a good run in. work my old ticker.

Stop it! You look to be in better condition in every photo you post. Are you posting younger and younger photos of yourself or what?  ;D

Okay, so this is a roundabout compliment. You look great and I think you know it.

taken aug 13,,,,

I carry some fat on my lower back too. I have a long torso, thus a long back. If I ever get back in to the gym and back into some kind of decent shape, I will try and figure out how to get a photo of my back.

Nice way to throw in that you do cardio. I am wondering if I will ever be able to run again. Nothing gets me cut like running.

It is starting to get dark earlier here too. Furthermore, the rains have kicked in big time. Last week I had to have all the roof ridge vents replaced with sturdier ones then the previous owner put in because we had high winds which blew off a couple of the caps leaving a gaping hole for the rain to get in. This is the kind of thing I would normally fix myself, but in my compromised condition as of late, I hired it out. Set me back only $500 which seemed worth it to me.

For legs, I purchased a knee sleeve that actually has ceramic woven into the fabric which is supposed to warm the knee. I feel like I need to do something besides the exercises I am doing to regain the flexibility I've seemed to have lost in my right leg. On a positive note, I am almost walking with no limp. I should get those shortened tendons stretched back out their normal position in no time.

Spent the bulk of the day at a meeting. My knee seems fine, but what concerns me is that the rest of my right leg has issues. I only hope this is the result of favoring it for the last year. I am still trying to walk like a normal dude with limited success. Maybe I could be a muscular gimp. Kidding aside, I am so ready to see the inside of my gym. Come hell or high water, I am going to go there and do something besides hit the tanning bed tomorrow.

Did I ever mention that I have issues with being patient? Enough is enough already. I have babied myself for far too long and it is time for me to man up! Not too worry, I will try my hardest to not impact my knee(s) since I am well aware that the right knee is still on the mend, but damn, it is time for me to get back to it!

Did I forget to mention that this is the best and most honest thread ever? I feel completely confident posting here regarding the nuisances staying fit as a senior citizen. Steve inspires me to be more that I can probably be and I hope I can return the favor by representing that one is never too old to be fit.....and maybe even still a little bit hot to the ladies. Steve, before I croak, I intend to own you on leg development!
