You've got me confused now, is it 'this' or 'that'?

I really screwed up. I thought I was sore on Wednesday, on Thursday I couldn't even bend my arms, much less lift them over my head. Today, they and my back are starting to feel better. Maybe I'll only do part of my shoulder workout, since using pussy weights still killed me.

just donīt expect me to do your Quadzilla leg blast Bro... ;D

Arms last night, stayed with supersets... started with incline curls and incline tri extensions.. really worked well..

incline Db curls SS Incline Tri Extensions 3 sets...8-10 reps
close grip chins(weighted) SS Close grip Benches 3 sets...8-10 reps
concentration curls(cable) SS cable kickbacks 3 sets...15 reps

Fast arm routine. nothing fancy just basic exercises that work for me. always think of Steve reeves when doing incline curls and i offset my grip on the Bells so my little finger is against the inside plate. Really makes the supination more natural. No cardio i was too tired  :'(

Jay you are always in shape and lean.. i drove past a guy i used to know the other Day and he is younger than me, about 45/46.. he was walking with a frame on wheels to aid him. Not sure what you call them, mainly for very old people too frail to walk.. he looked terrible. He was always overweight when i knew him but now is just obese.. he always ate Chicken dippers and drank 4 to 5 bottles of cola when at work.. :o

yes a shame.. he was ex Army too and worked with us or for the MOD (Army) but was a Clerk in the Army. A fat waste of space. I heard he only got employed because as a clerk he had contacts. I never really had anything against him myself but he was disliked big time. He did night shifts to avoid the trouble. Not a bad guy just .. he was a pervert and when the women came in to camp on ID checks he perved. Got complaints too.

Yesterday was legs. No warm ups listed.

Squats 2 x 8 then 1 x 1 (legs are shot from all the running I'm doing.)
leg press 2 x 12
leg extensions 2 x 20
standing leg curl 2  x 12

Single dumbbell side ab move 1 x 15
hanging leg raise 2 x max
ab wheel roll out 1 x max
machine crunches 2 x 25

leg press calf 2 x 20
seated calf 2 x 15

Neck work.

Feeling weak from all the distance running I'm doing. Getting a skinny look to myself and I know I'm burning muscle in addition to fat off. I get on these running kicks from time to time and now is one of them. I'm sure when I decrease the running at some point I'll start gaining lean muscle back quick.

When I first started Wellbutrin, it accelerated weight loss to the point I was getting concerned. I shouldn't have because it has leveled off now. I am not able to run right now, so diet is the next best thing. Some days are more successful than others. After years of wanting to be big, it's a complete reversal for me to want to be lean. The plus is I feel better lean.

As a kid in school I was always the skinniest kid in class. I always wanted to be big and  I used those unhealthful weight gain protein shakes for decades. I wish I realized that having a genetic disposition to be lean was a blessing instead of a curse. Now with age I gain weight way to easy. It's a fight to lose weight. I also wonder the harm I caused inside of my arteries drinking all those unhealthy gain weight shakes. Back in the day they were just filled with fat. Many young kids involved with bodybuilding think the perma bulker look that the walk around with most of the year is a good look. I think it looks unhealthy and can't compare to looking lean most of the year.

You're right, looking lean and muscular is rare with age unless you're foolish enough to be still risking health into your 50's and beyond.

I've always maintained the idea that if you take in less calories then you use up, you'll lose weight. Like anything else, it is best to not overdo it though because it tricks your metabolism into starving mode, which makes losing weight harder. Losing weight is just like gaining weight in that one should take it slow and easy. Doing otherwise creates the rebound effect, were as soon as you start eating again, you gain weight which is mostly fat.

yes i think by changing the angles you can shift more stress to each area. we know the whole chest is worked but still, i am not doing any flat work and itīs covered with incline/ Decline work but at the same time i get better results with Decline than flat.... am i rambling ? itīs 5 am here  ;D

20 mins on stationary Bike
BB Deep Squats 4 sets
BB front squats 4 sets
leg curls 4 sets
Stiff legged Deadlifts 4 sets
Seated calf raises 5 sets

i finished my workout with a type of Static hold without weight. My Back against a wall in a squat position and holding it as long as i could... it really will hurt tomorrow. Just decided to throw a few sets of this in... ;D
