GetBig has proven that it can change things. It gave Manion the flu so he cancelled the show today.
lol i think it was one man's set of questions:
Monday's show with special guest Jim Manion has been postponed. Unfortunately, Mr. Manion fell victim to the flu. We will be announcing a re-scheduled date for this highly anticipated interview. In the mean time, please enjoy a special "Encore Presentation" of our March 13th broadcast featuring emerging superstar Branch Warren - 8pm est (5pm pst). http://www.ProBodybuildingWeekly.com

Questions for Jim Manion. If Dan Solomon and Chick are not too chicken to ask the questions that are hard hitting - here we go. Serious questions that people want to know.
*) The IFBB recognizes that internet sites such as Getbig, Bodybuilding.com, Muscletime and others are places where people can get their news, yet the NPC, which Manion is president of, will not let the top three bodybuilding websites in the world get a PRESS PASS for any NPC Event. Why is that?
*) The PDI (Pro Division Inc) has announced some shows, and some upcoming events, whether it be Europe or the United States. You have said that any athlete that even attens these events or something like this will be suspended, fined, kicked out of the IFBB. Is this true or not?
*) The PDI has said that the NPC cannot tell any NPC member not to compete in the PDI nor provide any sanctions against them due to the United States Sports Act to prohibits amateur monopoly competitions? Can you comment on this?
*) What is your relationship with Wayne DeMilia and yourself. Is it true that Wayne DeMilia got you into a mangement and promotion of bodybuilding? Why didn’t you stand up for Wayne when the time came to support him?
*) The MPC. We want the truth - straight from you. What is the MPC and why does bodybuilding.com keep reporting that you are starting an organization called the MPC.
*) How many members are in the NPC as of this year. Are the numbers the same for bodybuilding or declining? What about fitness, women’s bodybuilding and fitness? As a non-profit organization, where does all of the money go to? The Magazine, the contests???
*) Explain the conflict of interest between yourself, as president of the NPC and IFBB, and your son, J.M. Manion, who gets a percentage of about 20 figure and fitness competitors (in two separate management groups), plus gets money from NPC Clothes plus gets money from the NPC Magazine? Is this not a conflict of interest?
*) Why have we not seen any report from the Non-Profit NPC? I thought that all non-profit organizations needed to publically report everything?
*) Why is the Mr. Olympia contest so tough to bring back to the way it was before? Why move it to Friday night? Who is in charge of the Olympia? Is it AMI/Weider or is it the IFBB? Everybody blames one another for last year’s decisions to move it to the New Orleans hotel and the Challenge Round fiasco, among other things?
*) Judging - Shawn Ray and many other pros have constantly complained that the judges are the same every year - and once again - in 2006, we see the same judges again and again. When are we going to see new judges? When are we going to see some retired pros judges? When are you going to see some others judges? Some judges that the audience will respect rather than the same judges?
*) You have said that all scores will be made public? No one has not seen ONE score made public? For instance - for the Ironman and the Arnold - countless request were asked to show the individual judges scores from the rounds and no one got them. NO ONE.
*) How is the judges scored? Why are the callouts announced before the judges even say one word or pass a paper? Is it true that the head judges of the contest chooses the callouts and the judges write down the order after that? Is that why some competitors get overlooked or why some never place higher than they should? Can there be a more accountable way to judge?
*) Do you have a temper? Do you yell at people? Do you threaten people? Do you warn them not to deal with other people? Do you feel that the pressure of being the main man in two huge organizations - the NPC and the IFBB - is tough - is not a conflict of interest?
*) Why - when so many athletes are asking for change for the last few years - is the IFBB resisting change? Is the IFBB not wanting to make it better for the pros?
