... I've got a few Seiko 7002 custom builds that are fun, but they are all sub £200. It was robcguns talking about the lack of depreciation, or even
appreciation, of the investment in something a little pricier that caught my attention. Never even crossed my mind to look at Rolex before.
For example, that white faced watch above is 9 years old! And if you look on that website it's worth virtually the same as one only a couple of years old. So the way I'm now looking at it is take the plunge, look after it/wear it for a few years then see how I feel about trading it in... that's making a lot more sense to me than burning the cash on a one off journey or something.
I see some more Googling over the weekend!
